From rising star Jennifer Lyon comes the fourth novel in her dark, sexy, and thrillingly paced Wing Slayer paranormal romance series.

Roxanne “Roxy” Banfield refuses to be like her mother, a fertility witch who uses sex as nothing more than a magical weapon. Roxy rejects that life and is determined to become mortal to pursue her dream of real love and a family. All she has to do is avoid meeting the one man whose sensuality can release her powers. But steering clear of this magnetic stranger is easier said than done.

Wing Slayer Hunter Kieran “Key” DeMicca channels the dark violence that lives inside him into a popular comic book series about an ancient dragon named Dyfyr, but only Key knows that Dyfyr is real. Lately he finds himself drawing images of a young woman in peril, and assumes that she’s just a product of his imagination—until he meets Roxy. Struck by her beauty and her resemblance to his sketches, he feels compelled to protect her. As steamy magic, lethal danger, and timeless love collide, Roxy must become what she swore she would never be—and awake a part of Key that will threaten to destroy them both.

4 1/2 "I do love me a dragon" Stars!

Beautiful tale of eternal love. Very sensual and seductive. There was enough action, but this one was all about the build-up to the "bonding" and the romance that follows. I loved it. I love this series. Key has the soul of an ancient Dragon and Roxy is the reincarnation of the dragon's lost love. The climax with the bad guy was a little... meh... But otherwise, very good story. I may he bias because I do love me some dragons. I'll be on to the next book very soon. Happy reading!

So turns out I was wrong. I didn't like this as much as the last one even though Dragons!

The idea of Dyfyr being a separate entity and the past lives thing just really bugged me. It really threw me off my mojo and felt almost like cheating. Which doesn't make sense what with the way Ms.Lyon wrote it but it came off that way to me just the same.

There were again the usual issues of cookie cutter plot and me just being bored. You think I'd learn my lesson after 4 books of the same shit but I still wanna read book 5.
If I'm smart, I won't.

This book got to the unaddressed issues right away. No waiting for the other person to figure it out. The story felt different from the previous books. It was more about the fear to love, and eternal love beyond death. Of course we still had bloodlust and rogues, but for me that was far less important.

When Roxy's blood touched the dragon tattoo I got goosebumps. The build to the storyline, and the mystery of the Dragon Dyfyr was thrilling and engaging.
Dyfyr photo Dyfyr_zps1xjii2do.jpg
Of all the witches so far, if I had my choice I'd want to be the witch with the sex magic!

Roxy... I hit it off with this witch right away. Loved her character for wanting to be normal and mortal. The only magic she wanted was the natural magic of love and family.

Key... I already loved Key from book 1. Sweet boy, who battled a lot of battered child and life issues.

The moral... Don't let your fears choose your destiny.

This was a goosebumps raising story. Excellent read, now on to book 4.5.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Story
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Steamy
🌙Jennifer Lyon is such a rich story teller and has an a firm grasp on the magics in her world. This one once again knocked it out of the park. She weaves in new history that is true to the original story.
🌙Kieran "Key" DiMicca has had a rough life. His mom found this mysterious dragon tear before getting pregnant with him. She became a target for rouge witch slayer who fathered Key. His mom then teamed up with a fertility witch to merge Key and the soul of the dragon Dryfr. This targeted poor Key to his father's vicious treatment. His half brother Liam went so far as to take the woman Key was in love with at 17. This tear in addition to the curse has always caused Key problems. He found salvation in his art, and turns Dryfr into a graphic novel.
🌙Roxanne "Roxy" Banfield is a fertility witch who hates the idea that her magic comes from sex. All thanks to her parents bickering over this. She is happy to never meet her "Awakening" and to let her chakras die off. Her father actively encourages her to close off from being a witch. Working for her dad she heads to a comic convention in Los Vegas to meet with two creators. One just happens to be Kieran.
🌙Key and Roxy are soul mirrors, and Key is her Awakening. Roxy is determine to stay away. Key is determine to protect this witch, but not fall in love.
🌙The road to true love between these soul mirrors is tough. And filled with dragon mate, past lives, devious parents, evil brother, fertility witch powers, and fighting the curse. I was so excited for Keiran's story and it delivered 100% to my expectations.

In book 4 in the Wing Hunter Slayers, Key battles the curse of bloodlust every day and draws to unleash the violence and rage inside him. Drawing keeps him sane, and he’s turned his artistic talent into a popular comic book about an avenging dragon, Dyfyr. The dragon, however, is real and lives inside him. Plagued by visions of dead witches for years, Key is shocked when he sees one of the witches very much alive in Las Vegas at a comic con. He’s determined to help her before she ends up dead.
Roxy is a fertility witch who controls sex magic. They’re very rare and much more secretive than the earth and demon witches that have been prevalent throughout the series so far. She has a chance to be normal, a human (which she wants), but her latent, dying witch power blooms to life when she meets Key. Instead of whining about her lost dreams, Roxy embraces her new life and all the dangers in it. Her acceptance shows strength of character, and I really admired that about her.
Roxy and Key’s connection is instant. The sex is hot and pulls her closer to Dyfyr. The dragon and man are one, and she loves them both. Roxy and Key both had difficult childhoods, especially poor Key, but they soon learned to heal each other. Dyfyr’s past is heartbreaking, but his history with his mortal lover centuries earlier is one of the more interesting parts of the book.
A few typos took me out of the story, so I had to reread to find out what was going on. Still, I enjoyed this book and I’m glad I read it.

Wow. This series is just freaking amazing. They are full of action, danger and strong chemistry. And let’s not forget heart wrenching sadness. This one about ripped me to shreds.

Key and Roxy’s story was a tough one. They had so much to overcome. It was a beautiful story that had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The love between them was so amazing and yet their story was a dark one. Full of soul shattering grief.

Overall this book was well written and created in a intense and dangerous world. A world full of unique characters such as Wing Slayers, Rogues, Earth witches and Demon witches. A creative story line different from others out there. Each story gets more intense and dangerous than the last. Building up to what will have to be an epic explosion. I can’t wait to read more!

Fated mates with Dragons and fertility witches.
Roxy and Key are awesome! So much action as he finds the woman he’s been drawing and tries to save her from his deranged brother.
Fighting together to save each other and all witches is their only chance, but can they survive.
I love this series!!

Amazing. I love the story between Keiran and Roxy and once again it portrays a second chance romance between lost lovers. The detail in showing both Keiran's and Roxy's struggle with overcoming past trauma and also accepting/embracing who you are was incredibly written.

Sinful Magic is the latest installment in Jennifer Lyon’s Wing Slayer Hunter series. Roxy Banfield has two goals: 1) to sign Kieran DeMicca and his graphic novel series to a long-term development contract for movie and TV and; 2) to never, ever give in to her fertility-witch nature and become like her mother. So far, so good! Goal number one is well within reach as Kieran DeMicca is attending the Comic Expression Conference and goal number two can certainly be reached as long as Roxy manages to stay away from the one man who can trigger her latent fertility-witch abilities. Unfortunately for Roxy that man is Kieran DeMicca. Balls!

Kieran DeMicca is the most unlikely Wing Slayer Hunter. Oh, he’s got the build, the aggression, and the thirst for witch blood but what he truly loves is his art. Since he was child, Kieran has managed to channel much of his aggression and anger into his art work. As an adult, Kieran has turned his talent into a money-making graphic novel series about a dragon named Dyfyr. For Kieran, Dyfyr is more than just a creature of his imagination; he is a being that has always been a part of Kieran and his life. In fact, in Kieran’s darkest and most desperate moments, he is sure that Dyfyr has simply taken over and saved his life. What more could a man ask for?

Kieran and Roxy’s lives collide when he spots the hot little redhead across the room at the Comic Expression Conference. Roxy also spots Kieran but her reaction to him is much, more dramatic. While Kieran is perfectly willing to make Roxy’s acquaintance, Roxy is perfectly willing to run fast and furiously in the other direction. Fate has other plans for Roxy Banfield and she soon realizes that not only is Kieran the man who will trigger her fertility witch abilities but he is also a man that she simply can’t leave behind. The problem, OK problems? Dyfyr is quite upset at the prospect of Roxy being in Kieran’s life; Roxy is going to have to accept her nature if she is to survive; Kieran must accept that he is not the only being that loves Roxy; and the rogue Hunters are back in force and they want Roxy at all cost.

Once the plot begins to unfold, the reader is taken on a wild ride that involves lots of violence, one seriously pissed off dragon, some steamy sex, and a whole host of people willing to rally around Kieran and Roxy to help them survive the threats they face. Roxy is one tough chick and she manages to hold her own in the face of danger. With Kieran and Dyfyr by her side she is nearly unstoppable. While the long-term plot is certainly continued in this novel and in no danger of wrapping up anytime in the near future, there are also several little clues and hints as to the shorter-term plots that are on the horizon. I am absolutely ready for more Wing Slayer Hunter novels. Bring on Ram, Linc, and Eli’s stories, Jennifer Lyon. I can take it 

This is the fourth book in the Wing Slayer series and it's one of my favorites. One thing I love about is that as each book is being released the series as a whole is getting even better. The plot lines are getting more intricate and interesting, and the overall plot line is becoming really detailed and intense.

This book featured Key, aka Kieran, who is plagued with moments of distress when he is forced to relive his brother's killing rampages through his own drawings. Lately he has become obsessed with drawing the image of a woman, pieces at a time but never the full picture. He is amazed when he sees her in person at an author convention and she runs away from him.

Roxy is a witch who has no desire to be a witch, in fact she's doing everything she can to make sure she doesn't come into her powers. All she has to do is avoid the man who will "awaken" her abilities and cause her fertility birthmark to fill with color. Easier said than done, especially when she realizes that the man in question is Key and she was pursuing him to make a tv series out of his comic series. She decides she will simply avoid him, but circumstances change and fate keeps pushing them together.

I've been waiting for Key's story since this series started and I'm really happy with how the author did him justice. He was great with Roxy, they had awesome chemistry and I loved the story of Key and his dragon. It made his story a bit different from everyone elses and it added a new element to the overall plotline of the series.

Roxy was really interesting because she was so innocent to this whole world so it was like being introduced to things all over again. She was also really fierce and I liked seeing her standing up to Key and connecting with his dragon. I also loved how Phoenix kept ripping her on her sex magic, that added some levity to the book. My favorite scene was actually when she was trying to heal Linc and Key went nuts and his dragon emerged. That was just great.

I can't wait for the next book in the series, not sure when it comes out though, hopefully soon!

‘Sinful Magic’ is a delicious intoxicating novel. Once you start it, I promise you will not be able to put it down. Jennifer Lyon creates a world of danger, fantasy, action, and loves so strong it could kill. ‘Sinful Magic’ continues the Wing Slayer novel saga, the fourth novel is the story of Kieran or ‘Key’.

Key has always been the darker, mysterious one in the group. He is famous for the dark comics he creates including his dragon Dyfyr. His way of releasing the dark and evil of the blood lust and the curse was always drawing.

Roxy is looking for a comic series to make into a television series. She goes about looking into Key’s comics but that’s when all hell breaks loose. Roxy is a fertility witch but she has no desire to be a witch at all. See she doesn’t believe her mother used her power the right way and she doesn’t want to be like that. So if she doesn’t find her awakening her chakras will die off and she will become human and that is something she wants more than anything.

So what happens when Key turns out to be her awakening and he needs her to awaken his dragon?

There were so many different elements to this plot; I was in love with it. So many twists and turns happened; this book had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Roxy and Key’s love is so unbelievably strong and passionate it just captivates you from the moment they meet.
I love the world Jennifer Lyon creates, these Wing Slayer Hunters grip your attention and don’t let go. These books are romantic, adventurous, with some very well placed humor, and they have a great plot of fantasy. I would recommend ‘Sinful Magic’ to anyone! Trust me you do not want to miss this series, Jennifer Lyon truly created a new level of paranormal excellence I cannot wait for the next installment!

Sinful Magic is a strong story, well written, with likable characters you don't want to let go of. Not for the first time, Lyon struggles with show-don't-tell and pass-the-ketchup and her prose often suffers from it, but she is a proficient, engaging writer nonetheless.

In my review of the book that came before this one in the series, Night Magic, I wrote: Magic, magic, magic, MAGIC. He felt it, she felt it, they felt it, she felt it in her pelvis, she felt it in her nipples, she felt it when he kissed her, he saw it shimmering on her skin, he felt it emanate from her, she felt it from the other witches, they felt it in his tattoo, it called to him, it tore through her, magic, magic, magic. Obviously, magic is hugely important in this book, but it got to the point where I felt it was just too much, especially in the sex scenes.

I feel this is true again in Sinful Magic, though it's easier to take when you're used to it already from previous books. Also, the heroine's magic in this book is sex magic, so it's even more pervasive, if possible. The idea of her magic actually being fueled by sex is a little over-the-top, almost heading towards cornball.

Reading Sinful Magic helped me pinpoint something I experienced in Night Magic too, which is that it sometimes feels like Lyon is leaning too heavily on the concept of soul mirrors to do the work of bringing her characters together for her. In a romance I want deliciousness, sexual tension, and I want it to be authentic. It's just not quite there in this book. It exists, it's just not quite as bright and powerful as I want.

Still, for all that I think it could have been even better, it was a great book, and the ending was well done, well paced and satisfying.

Fierce, driving need exploded within him. He couldn't wait any longer, couldn't draw another breath until he claimed her, sealing her to him.Forever.
I'm addicted to this series. The characters fly off the page to keep you craving more never wanting to put it down. I don't know how Jennifer Lyon does it, she has created a plot-world-characters that are so magical and addicting I crave more and I'm left with such a book hangover it takes days to get over.
I'm going to hold your sweet ass as I bury my cock in you.Sliding in and out, harder and harder until I fill that need in you and you're boneless with pleasure.
I've fallen in love with all the previous characters but Key and Roxy top the charts for me. Their history and chemistry jump at you and you can't help but feel the connection. Key has loved and lost and it's left him emotional scared, not to mention the physical abuse he suffered as a child. He's afraid of the dragon and darkness living inside him, so he's kept everyone as arms length. Key has a half brother Liam who's a rouge and also the cause of most of the pain and suffering . They share a sort of physic connection that has tormented key for years. As a famous creator of comic books, his drawling is his outlet and at time magical and other times his tormentor. Key drawls sense of Liam slaughtering witches. Roxy is a fertility( sex magic ) witch her power is latent until she meets her "awakening". It soon become clear that these two are soul mirrors(the other half of each other) . I could go on and on giving away the whole book. But I wont I'll stop here saying.... Key has to learn to accept the dragon and Roxy must learn to trust and love in herself and Key. The ride with these two was unbelievably hot, wild, and loving with a great HEA.

Sinful Magic (Wing Slayer Hunters, #4) by Jennifer Lyon Original review: I've been waiting almost from the first for Key's book. Artist. Wing Slayer. Dragon. What's not to love? Jennifer Lyon has created a fantastic world of earth witches and the Wing Slayer Hunters--men sworn to protect the witches, barely hanging on to their honor because of a curse. Starting with the very first book in the series, Blood Magic, the world building and the emotional impact of each book has grown. Ms. Lyon has the unique ability to leave me smiling, and sometimes laughing, through my tears. If you are looking for a new paranormal romance series, I highly recommend all of the Wing Slayer books!

I was excited when Jen got the rights to this series back. First, it meant more books. Second, it meant she could re-edit to tell the story her way. This is book that truly cemented the story for me. Key and Roxie are such a troubled couple, with emotional baggage that should have torn them apart but instead, made them stronger. Plus, dragon! I don't want to give away the plot if you haven't read this book. You definitely need to. It's a keeper. And did I mention...dragon!?!?!

First of all I have to say, it is perfect how Mrs. Lyon is able to tell different stories for each of the Wing Slayer Hunters. all of them get their own story and their own witches

in this story we learn more about Key and his Dragon - I absolutely love dragons. Kieran can fight his bloodlust through his art - and nobody exept him knows that his dragon is real.
Roxy is a fertility witch, who wants to be mortal - and she is sure to reach that goal when she meets Kieran, who is her Awakening.

the story is well done and I loved the developments between Roxy and Kieran. Kieran is a real Alpha male but he nevertheless learns to be open with his feelings.
Roxy develops from a very controlled personality to an interesting characters and I really think they are great together. I had some problems with the way Dyfyr is in their lifes but in the end it was ok for me.

what I love about this series is that we see all the other characters from the other books as well, although I have some difficulties with the Hunters. the witches are exactly like they are in their own books, but the Hunters are different somehow - not so loveable as if Mrs. Lyon is afraid to show them how they were pictured in their own books so that they cannot take the spotlight from the Hero.

Nevertheless I love this series and hope for more books!

I just love this series! Each hero is more handsome, sexier and has a more tortured past than the last. I totally loved dragon shifter Kieran DeMicca. His tortured past is heartbreaking and you can't help but want him to have his HEA even if he doesn't want it. As a witch hunter cursed to crave witch blood, actually killing a witch would cause him to go rogue and be hunted by his own men, the Wing Slayers.

And the reluctant heroines are amazing even if they fight their part from start to end. Roxy is one such heroine. She is a fertility (or sex) witch and after seeing her father mentally destroy her mother, she wants nothing to do with witchcraft until she meets Kieran and even then she fights the attraction with all she has.

Of course, the whole gang of Wing Slayers enter the story at some point as does Liam, Kieran's supposedly deceased rogue brother. It should be no surprise that Liam wants fertility witch Roxy to further his evil plot along with Quinn Young, former Wing Slayer, now rogue leader.

Just another quick, fun read with amazing characters. I am anxiously awaiting book 5.

Key has always been one of my favorite characters in this series, so when I realized that in this book he was going to be heavily featured I was really happy.

Key is still haunted by his manic drawing. He now seems stuck on a woman, but he can't see her until one day he draws her being tortured. Then he runs across this woman at a convention where he is featured, but she isn't he only thing that he finds.

It took a lot for Key to talk and get Roxy to trust him. Roxy is very gun shy due to her own issues with her family. She was determined to let her magic die until Key barged into her life.

Both Key and Roxy have lots of issues to work through. It is a good think that they have the others to help them out. They find that they have been betrayed by family and need to depend on each other (and a dragon) to get through.

I loved seeing the way the other Hunters and Witches rallied around Key and Roxy. By their actions and words they proved that they are a family and family sticks together.

Just when I thought I couldn't like this series anymore, Lyons mixes it up. I absolutely adored the Dragon Love Story. Key and Roxy are my new favorite couple after Axel and Darcy. The basis of the series has not changed, the Wing Slayer Hunters are still trying to defeat Quinn Young and Asmodeus, and save as many earth witches as possible. But with each book there is the sub-plot of the main couple. They have all had different paths, skills, and winged creatures who reside in their souls. Each couple is called a "soul mirror", they are each a half of the soul and to be free of the curse and live forever they must find their other half and bond pledging their faith to serve the Wing Slayer God. The variable is always the witch that is their other half. There are many varying witches, from fertility to siren. But with this story, the Wing Slayer Key and the witch Roxy are part of a timeless love story involving a Dragon and his lover. They each have to give in to who they once were and trust each other. Definitely a top book in this series.

An amazingly beautiful story of two souls that have always been meant to be.

Roxy is a witch whose power is based on sex magic. She's always been torn whether to allow her powers to grow or to have them go dormant because of her parents and the ideas they have embedded in her mind. That is until she meets Key (and Dyfyr).

Key is an artist and a Wing Slayer Hunter. He has had a very tortured life growing up. He also had parents with different ideas and one of them took to physical harm as a form of punishment to try and get their way from him. Key became completely numb, without any feelings. Especially feelings of love. That is until he meets Roxy.

Together they can conquer all of the negativity that they both carry in their minds, hearts and souls. They complete one another and I do not believe fate could have created a more perfect match :)

(This review may contain spoilers).

Key's book was one that I really wanted to read, but I was quite hesitant to do so, since in most series, when I look forward to a character's book, I'm almost always disappointed.

That wasn't the case here. The author kept to the world (none of the rules were bent or broken), while creating a story different enough to hold my interest. And it was really great to see more of Linc and Eli. (Yay! Eli's now a Wing Slayer hunter).

The only disappointment now is that there's only one left to read. I want to read it, but at the same time, I don't want the series to be finished.

I think I would highly recommend this series to those who like paranormal romance. After reading so many things with unhealthy, obsessive relationships, books like these are a breath of fresh air.

Just when you didn't think these books could get any hotter! Holy smokes! Key and Roxy set the world on fire with nothing but their soul mirrors and a dragon. An immortal dragon that recognizes his long lost lover in Roxy and neither Key nor the dragon will stop protecting what is theirs.

Key is lost in the turmoil of fighting a past of violence, disappointment and being unloved. He's found a family of sorts in the Wing Slayer Hunters, but he hasn't found his heart. That is until he catches a glimpse of Roxy across the room and he's pulled to her. Roxy is happy that her witch powers are nearly gone and she can step into the shoes of a mortal. The magic world has other plans for her and she becomes a powerful fertility witch. She's found her soul mirror...could it just stay at that?

Dive into this love story and see how a dragon, a hunter and a witch fight for happily ever after!

Over the Top With the Sex Scenes

This is the 4th book in Jennifer Lyon's Wing Slayer Hunter series and I've enjoyed all of them thus far. In this book, I really liked the back story of the dragon, Dyfyr, and the further development of the underlying story dealing with the rogue hunters and the demon and demon witches. However, I've noticed that the author continues to ramp up the number and intensity of the sex scenes in the books. I get it that the witch in this book is a fertility witch, but enough is too much. I really hope Ms. Lyons dials it back a notch or two in future books. If you take out all the lurid and graphic sex scenes, the story starts to get pretty slim. For that reason, I'm only giving this book a 3 star rating.

I was reminded with this series of Kenyon' Dark Hunter. There is a war between a demi-god called Wing Slayer and a powerful demon names Asmodeus. Humans and super-humans are caught in the middle, namely witches and hunters, beings with supernatural powers, the former taken from nature, the latter from their God Wing Slayer. But some decades ago, due to a curse influenced by Asmodeus through demon witches, hunters and witches joined their souls, then separated with weakened powers. Now they search their soul mirrors; in exchange, the hunters release the wings within and the witches gain more powers. In Sinful Magic, Kieran has a dragon trapped within who is awakened by his beloved, a fertility witch. Good, fast, sexy.
