Short reference guide (think: about the same depth as the info in the little pamphlet that comes with a deck) on tarot card meanings.

A fairly straightforward guide on card meanings, but a little deeper than the standard types of pamphlet.

Recommended for early tarot readers.

Interesting concept

An interesting look at Tarot keywords and interpretations collected from a number of readers.

A very quick read, but much to consider and absorb. As a reader for over 50 years, I'm always interested in seeing how the cards speak to others.

While the associated "Oracular" and "" Flip" titles don't particularly resonate with me, others may find them more to their style.

Great learning tool!

As I venture more into the tarot and finding my own path, this book has been insightful. I will continue my search and look forward to more books from this author and co- author's.

Good as a quick reference, but I had a hard time wrapping my mind around the inclusion of NLP as a technique for communicating an answer to clients' questions. Love the flip and oracular titles!!!

~SUBCONSCIOUS CORE~

I wish this was my first Tarot book. That would have instantly made me a "kick-start professional" for using this book does bring you on an inner level of professionalism which you can easily match with your outer appearance as a professional: again, with the help of TAROT FLIP.

Marcus Katz, a true genius of the Tarot world and the man behind tarot professionals dot com and tarot dash town dot com and his trusted co-author Tali Goodwin created a masterpiece allowing you to learn the deep subconscious core and meaning of Tarot cards: using NLP techniques the authors interviewed hundreds of Tarot Professionals with their hundreds of different decks on the meanings of cards to get to the very soul of each of the 78 cards.

Now you can short cut years of book learning and get a simple answer for any card in any position in any spread. The revolutionary addition to each card's description is the "What you say" section: a prompt of how you announce the card to the client, for example, with the 7 of Swords, which was one of the most challenging cards for myself when I was first starting out: ("upright: Trespass, reversed: Integrity"): "In this card, we see in the situation for which we are reading some indication of deceit - someone is breaking the agreement." or "When this card is reversed, we know that all is being honestly presented."

Simple? Yes. Brilliant? Beyond brilliant!

To give you a full taste of what a card presentation is like in TAROT FLIP, I will share the rest of the 7 of Swords with you.

"Theme/Framework: Exchange
Oracular Title: A Sign Reading Don't Walk on the Grass.
Flip Title: A Man Borrowing Books from a Library."

For the purpose of discovering the core meaning, authors asked "flipped" questions of what a card is NOT, "flipping" between synonyms and antonyms until settling on a final keyword.

There is an interesting section on the suits, where the authors explain how the majority of the suit is most evident in the Ace of the suit. The example readings show you how to use the new knowledge in practice.

Even though at the first sight this book is the most suited for the beginners, giving them the opportunity to read straight from the box of newly purchased Tarot cards, experienced readers, in my opinion, will sunbathe in the luxurious simplicity and simple true WISDOM of the core of the subconscious meanings of the cards. For myself, I know I will return to this little book every now and then, while waiting for the next two books of the Volume I of the Tarosophy KickStart Guides: TAROT TWIST: Finding a Spread for Every Question and TAROT SWITCH: Methods of Engaging Tarot in Life. The Volume II will start with the intriguing TAROT UPLIFT: Tarot and Kabbalah for a Spiritual Life.

As many other Tarot Enthusiasts I am thanking Marcus Katz and his team for all the great passionate work they do.

I was disappointed in this group of booklets. There was a ton of fluff but very little truly revolutionary information.
