Ranty Spoilers Ahead: I hated this book. It's really messed up to me how "romance" is confused with "rich man creates scenario to coerce consent from vulnerable woman who would rather say no but now has to say yes". Somehow being a creepy stalker who doesn't understand that no means no is ok as long as he's handsome and rich. This trope is insulting to women everywhere and I wish I could get a refund of the $2 I spent at Amazon to read this novel.

Güzel bir romandı. Lena aslında bir vakıfta çalışırken akşamları da eskortluk yapmaktadır. İşe ilk başladığında müşterisi ile yattığından dolayı zarar görmüştür ve bir daha asla yapmayacağına yemin etmiştir. Ama üç yıl sonra karşısına Roderick çıktığında ikisi de kendilerini kaybederler ve tutkulu bir geceden sonra Lena yaptıklarından pişman olur ve Broderick'i bir başına bırakıp gider. Ama Broderick onu kafasına taktığından peşine düşer ve üç haftayı onunla geçirmesi için ikna eder. Bu üç haftanın sonuna doğru aralarına Lena'nın eskortluk mesleği girer ve Broderick biraz kalın kafalılık yapar. Lena ona aşık olduğunun farkındadır ama Broderick'in fark etmesi biraz zaman alacaktır. Birbirlerini 4 ay görmedikten sonra ise Zandra'nın yardımıyla tekrar birleşirler (Zandra eskortluk şirketini yöneten ve de Broderick'in çocukluk arkadaşıdır). 4 ay sonra bir balayı epilogu ile de kitap biter. Benim hoşuma gitti, kitapta beni rahatsız eden de bir şey yoktu. Güzel bir erotik-romans kitabıydı.

But when their arrangement ends, will they be able to go back to being strangers?
I loved this story! This was my first romance by this author, and from the very first page I was drawn in to their romance. I loved how Lena was a strong, confident, intelligent woman when doing her escort job (though in her private life less confident, as if playing the role of a date for a powerful businessman emboldens her). Roderick is a total playboy of course, secure in his wealth, masculinity and attraction to the female sex, and it's easy to see why any woman wouldn't be flattered by his pursuit of them. But he also appreciates Lena's whole self, her caring and friendly attitude and her business acumen. He is attracted to more than just her looks. The sexual chemistry between them is present from the very beginning and the love scenes between them sizzle. I am highly looking forward to reading more of the Brand family series! 5 stars!

I never get tired of stories with uber-rich men. It's a nice fantasy. This one had the added bonus of hot sex scenes coupled with a good plot. Another winner from Ms. Smith. I'm looking forward to his brother's book - Anyway You Want It - which is a "friends to lovers" storyline. Should be another winner.

The chemistry between Lena & Roderick IGNITE from the moment they meet until the novel concludes. It was SUCH a PAGE-TURNER. The MAYHEM they created with their TORRID love scenes, engulfed my every WICKED FANTASIES, and at times my pulse went HAYWIRE, (the pool scene, OOO-WEE! MY HEART-RATE WAS GOING A MILE A MINUTE!) It literally had me wondering if men like Roderick actually do exists? And, if so I'm envious of the women, who get to enjoy the ENDLESS PLEASURES from those men.
This was my first novel from Ms. Smith, and without-a-doubt definitely won't be my LAST!! Beside the Twilight Series, which is Young Adult Romance, this was the ONLY Contemporary Erotic Romance novel within my collection, I've read TWICE. I NEVER WANTED THE STORY TO END, I can ONLY hope that there's a PART II, for Zandra & Remington's Story.

As a writer and reader, I learned a great deal about explicit imagery and language. This piece of writing put a larger emphasis on sexual content and behavior - something I have yet to consider when writing my own prose. Grisham definitely wrote for the soul purpose of entertainment - there was no life lesson or moral earned from the story. In my own writing, I tend to lack the creative sense for great fiction pieces, but this piece of writing told me that exploring language, and sometimes uncomfortable topics for disucssion, is a venture worth taking if interested in capturing the playful mind of my readers.

The story wasn't bad, but I didn't like the sex most of the time too much quickies, it started out very very interesting (hope not a spoiler) but on that first night they met and they had sex it kind of lost my interest, don't get me wrong I have read books where the sex is in the first chapter and I liked it but it kept my interest. I felt like the book was missing something cant pin point it it felt like it didn't hold my interest the way I wanted it to, the characters were great but would have liked to see something more from both but all in all I like the read but it didn't wow me. Not my job to tell readers to buy or not buy a book a lot of people seem to like it so take a chance.

I don't care what anyone says! This book made my effin week! Loved the characters... Loved the story...but most of all, I loved the sex!! Hot, unbelievable sex with a delicious man-cicle...yes please! Can I have another! The ending had some cheese but I'll take it as long as it has a large glass of Rodrick chardonnay on the side!! Should you read this you ask? Survey says....duuuh!!! of course!!!! :)

You will not be able to put this one down once you start reading. The sex scenes in this book are just amazing!! Maureen Smith really has an incredible gift with her words, I am officially addicted to her books, and am reading them one by one...definitely purchase this, you will not regret it one bit!

Öncelikle kitabı çok beğendim , farklı bir konusu olmasının yanı sıra yazarında anlatımı bir hayli kuvvetliydi.Beni etkileyen en önemli unsurlardan biriyse içinde JAPON KÜLTÜRÜ’ne değinilmesi , tam bir Japonya delisi olan ben için kitap bulunmaz bir nimet oldu.Okurken küçük bir yerde Lena’nın Japonca ‘’Doomo Arigatou Gozaimasu’’ demesi ve Japon yemeklerinden bahsedilmesi çok hoşuma gitti.Öyle ki en çok duyduğum Japon yemeklerinden biri olan Negi Ramen’i bile ‘’Acaba yazar ona da değinmiş mi?’’ diyerek bekledim.Okurken hiç sıkılmamış olmamın yanı sıra büyük keyif aldığımı da belirtmem gerekir.Farklı , çok çekici bir konusu vardı ama tek yadırgadığım nokta yazarın cinselliğe konudan fazla odaklanması oldu.Gerçi yazarın dili o kadar akıcı ki bu yadırgadığım sahneleri bile okurken su gibi aktı kitap.Bu kısımlarda çevirmeni de takdir etmem gerek , işinin ehli birisi olduğu ortada.Ephesus Yayınları’nda son zamanlarda okuduğum en etkileyici kitap olduğunun altını özellikle çizerim.Yayınevinin birbirinden güzel kitapları olmasına rağmen ‘’Seninim’’ kitabı bende bambaşka bir yer edindi.Kitabın başından sonuna kadar soluksuz okudum.Sayfalar birbiri ardına kendi kendine sıralandı desem yeridir.Roderick gerçekten eşsiz bir karakterdi.Bazı kısımlarda beni deli etse de kitabı soluksuz okumamın en baş sebeplerinden birisi erkek kahramanımızdır.Lena’nın yaşadıklarına da çok üzüldüm.Çalıştığı işe göre insanlar tarafından yanlış değerlendirilse de oldukça asil bir kızdı , ve Roderick’de bunu görebildiği için onu sevdi.Kısacası ben kitaba bayıldım , gerçekten bende özel bir yer edinen kitaplardan biri oldu.Hele o sonu sırf sonuç için bile bu kitabı okumalısınız diyorum.

Lena and Roderick had a solid Harlequinesque romance. Roderick is a billionaire developer and Lena is a grant writer by day and a no sex high end escort by night. Lena's friend and boss, Zandra, set them up in the hopes that eventually they would get together because she thought they were perfect for one another.
Lena gave a good token effort to resist Roderick for all of three hours before she succumbed to his seduction. :) The affair was a mistake that could have lead to grievous consequences to her as well as her friend Zandra. Lena tried not to see Roderick again, because she made the same mistake with a different client a few years ago when she first got into the business. Roderick wanted Lena so badly that he propisitioned her like Richard Gere did Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman after he found out that she had recently written proposals for a grant for the school that she worked at. Of course Roderick did this under the guise that "his committee" had to look over the paperwork. Lena's supervisor put Lena in direct contact with Roderick unknowingly so she had to accept the offer risk being fired. They spent three glorious weeks together, and instead of at the end of the three weeks when they should have received their HEA, they got into an argument which I didn't quite understand how things blew up so out of proportion, it postponed thier HEA for another 4 months when Roderick couldn't stand to be apart from Lena anymore. Lena's character was more fleshed out than Roderick's, but both were lacking the depth necessary for me to care for the characters after the story was over.

Ilk defa okudugum bir yazardi. Cok akıciydi kitap okurken akıyordu.
Konusunu cok sevdim unutulmaz Özel Bir Kadin'ın konusuna cok
benziyordu. Her satırından büyük bir zevk alarak okudum. Keske kıtabın
+18 uyarısı kapakta olabılseydi cünkü oldukca erotik sahneleri vardi.
Ama konu geregi bence tam kararında idi yazar iyi bir denge kurmuştu.
Ciftin arasindaki cayir cayır yanan seksüel gerilimide,birbirlerine
aşık olmalarini,sahiplenmeleri cok iyi işlenmişti.
Özellikle romanin erkek karakteri Bay Mükemmel romanindaki erkek
karakteri sollayacak bir karakterdi bence. Hicmi kusur olmaz ki.BU karakterde neredeyse hiç kusur yoktu..
Romanin konusuna gelince Lena Eskortluk yapan genc bir kadindır.
Hayatta kızkardesi ve büyük babasindan da başka kimsesi yoktur. Bir
kaza geciren büyükbabasinin tedavi masraflarini ödeyebilmek icin

This book starts well enough - classy escort falls for a super sexy client who happens to be an energy magnate. Sparks fly, she manages to (mostly) stick to her principles, they have hot sex. All well and good... until they jet off to Tokyo.
I almost wailed, "Nooooo!" Japan is so hard to get right, and having lived here for the better part of a decade every mistake sticks out. And wow, there are a bunch. Flowers symbolizing death decorate their hotel room. One of the stickiest snacks ever is used as a "finger food". Tea ceremony is done with plain ol' sencha (simple green tea) and called an acquired taste (the correct tea is matcha). They take the bullet train for short hops around town, which is impossible because as a long distance train the stations are few and far between. Many-layered kimonos slip off with a shrug.
And then their whole relationship turns on one candid photo. GRAH! So while the beginning was okay this ended up a one star read for me. I feel kind of bad about it - if the trip to Japan was mentioned in the cover copy I wouldn't have even picked it up. Ah, well.

For it's length, it took me some time to read. This is a first time author for me so I wasn't sure what to expect. The writing is very good and the story moves briskly. I didn't score it higher because as a book it breaks no new ground for me. It is a basic story of an arrogant billionaire who sweeps a (sometimes) resisting woman off her feet. The heroine Lena works as a high class escort -- no sex, just arm candy and big brains -- for rich men in order to pay for her grandfather's care at a full time nursing/retirement facility.
Rod is the sexy, arrogant billionaire who needs her as an escort for the evening. He is looking to close a business deal with on a Japanese company and Lena is fluent in Japanese. She proves helpful in him closing the deal. they fall in lust and then in love with each other.
Extremely sexy/sensual book, just short of erotica, imo.
I liked it well enough to have spend the time reading but it isn't something I'd rave about.

This was a cute pretty standard contemporary romance/chick lit book. Lena is the responsible member of the family who earns the$$ by working 2 jobs: college grant writer and professional escort (NOT sex/not a prostitute). She is a date for very wealthy business men who need an attractive and smart person for a function. She speaks japaneese and italian.
Roderick is wooing a japaneese company and his friend owns an escort agency, she pushes Lena on him as his "date" and Lena not only sweeps the Japaneese of their feet, but him as well. Now this girl has slept with a 3x repeate client before and woke up not to love lettters and roses but $200- so she has learned her lesson and won't sleep with a client ever again. Ever....
It's sweet and cute. The writing is easy to read and family members provide lots of humor. They are cute. What can I say, I like babies, puppies and cute romances that make you sigh.

Loved that it was set in chicago.
Loved that the main character would do anything for her family and career, to a fault- some would say
Steamy scenes, A LITTLE softcore-.IMO
I didn't see a love story, more like a lust story.
Unrealistic, Pretty woman - knock off.
The protaganist always flaunted his money and that's the only way he showed her any "romance." That doesn't give any hope to the poor sap's romantic he/she will never be able to live up to unless there's a Swiss bank account somewhere.
On a brighter note, its a fast read. Great book when you want to inspire some bedroom heat.
Characters are not anyone I want to know.

WHATEVER YOU LIKE was a good read. The characters were explosive together and the pace kept up.

Hot! It's definitely a book you can't put down once you start.
Only thing I didn't like was being TOLD who Roderick looked like because in my mind that's not who he looked like. Nonetheless, I've read it several times cause they are such a hot couple. One thing this story shows is how important communication is but also how even when arrangements are made they can change. I hear there is a book about Remy...looking for that one.

This was XXXX short of bring to hot to handle. Leann and Roderick took love and relationships to the next level as they learn to trust each other by giving and receiving. The grandfather and brother added concern and understanding.
