Ray Cluley is a British Fantasy Award winner with stories published in various magazines and anthologies. Some of these have been republished in ‘best of’ volumes, including Ellen Datlow’s Best Horror of the Year series and Nightmares: A New Decade of Modern Horror, as well as Steve Berman’s Wilde Stories: The Year’s Best Gay Speculative Fiction, and Benoît Domis’s Ténèbres. He has been translated into French, Polish, and Hungarian, and Chinese.

I won this book in a goodreads contest. I'm very happy to have won this book. I can't wait to read it. It looks very fun and interesting.

I got a free copy of this book from a First Reads giveaways. I'm not a big fan of smut or erotica but I kinda had high hopes for this one, seeing as it had "Best Erotica" on the cover, etc. I don't know. Color me naive.
I only got through about four or five of the stories, telling myself that I'd read the book if only to get some laughs at things like "moistness" and "sprouting boners" (that's verbatim) before I gave up up. I realize I may not be the right person to read this kind of thing and with all respect to anyone who might enjoy it but they weren't in the least bit sexy. The terms used, referring to both sexual organs and the characters, were offensive and gross. I'd give examples but I care too much. The stories I read were exaggerated and ridiculous, with absolutely no sense of intimacy or what sex is like. It wasn't even believable as a fantasy. Disgusting all around.

Didn't actually read this book but a book that had some of the stories from this book in and I couldn't find it on GR so I'm posting this one. The other one was called "sexy Situations" and is Vol 2 from the Excite Books Collection.
