A Prince of a Guy

Mother-to-be Tommi Fairchild needed to take care of her baby and her bistro. So when Max Callahan offered to invest in her restaurant, it was the answer to a prayer. The gorgeous self-made millionaire was no mere silent partner. He was six feet of commanding, unadulterated masculinity.

Max had no illusions about romance. But he vowed to protect the mother-to-be from the wolves at her door. With her lively spirit and loving nature, she was making the buttoned-down businessman long to break down the walls around his heart. Because falling in love with Tommi was no fairy tale. It was as real - and as good - as it got!

About the author

Christine Flynn

154 books48 followers
Award-winning author Christine Flynn was once told by a creative writing professor that she would save herself a lot of grief if she would limit her love of books to reading rather than attempting to write. Taking his words to heart, she dropped his class and wrote very little until fifteen years later when her husband gave her a Silhouette Romance which he'd received free with the gift-wrap of her mother's day present. She doesn't remember what he bought her (neither does her husband), but she remembers the book. As a person who had always found relationships fascinating, especially the often-complicated relationships between men and women, the writing she had always wanted to do had finally found its focus. Now considered "one of the genre's master storytellers" by Romantic Times Magazine, her work regularly appears on national best-seller lists, including USA Today and Waldenbooks.

Pretty good read. Great for the anytime or passing time kinda book. Good characters, emotions, great personalities (even the unsavory ones), good family, strength and a sweet HEA. Something for the 'just something to read' times. Would go good with comfy pj's, a blanket, some hot cocoa and some ice cream. ;) Enjoy

4 1/2 Stars! ~ Tommi Fairchild has always felt she was the sister that disappointed. Finding herself pregnant without a father for her child, she realizes that she'll need more than just her little bistro to find financial security. Max doesn't need anyone, all his life he's fended for himself and his drive to grow and succeed professionally has filled his life. Until doing his business partner a favour and meeting Tommi in his stead, starts Max on a journey that shakes up all he's always believed about himself.

These two are great together. I love how Ms. Flynn makes Tommi and Max so very real and a couple I was eagerly rooting for. This is a heartwarming story that will make you smile time and time again.

The Hunt for Cinderella

After the success of his ultimatum to his four sons, Harrison Hunt is basking in the joy of their marital bliss and the abundance of grandchildren. His best friend and the widow of his former business partner, Cornelia Fairchild, has four daughters that seem to be as commitment phobic as his sons had once been. He wants Cornelia to know his joy, and so he subtly, and not so subtly, begins a campaign to find the Fairchild women husbands.

This wasn't exactly a bad book - it had some nice fluidity to the writing, and the hero was great, but for a romance, it had little conflict and there was very little attraction between the characters. The ending was a sudden and complete turnaround.
