An exemplary book on the divinely ordained Covenant established by Baha'u'llah, the founder of the Bahai Faith. It gives much needed depth on such a concept that is essentially a unifying, binding and irrevocable decree in The Faith. It is a monumental institution, which seeks to avoid schisms, divisions and disparities that may arise in a world wide community. From past religions, their founders had not set in stone a binding force to which their adherents could follow. Sects have risen as a result from the depths of greed and glory from those who say they have been divinely appointed to carry on the order. From Christianity, the thirst for power begot over 200 sects as Christ had not laid down a Covenant and likewise, Mohammad who did not clearly bequeath someone the reigns and there sprung Sunni and Shia. With such a conducive element that brings tranquility, fellowship, and the safeguarding of the interest of the people, The Bahai Faith seeks to demonstrate and bring forth complete and Divine Order that is to be accepted by all members.

This was my very first book I voluntarily read cover to cover in English. Essential read for any Baha'i and one of best books any Baha'i could read.
