As a wildly successful financier, Martin is used to getting whatever he wants whenever he wants it. He doesn't believe in anything as fanciful as love, and he certainly doesn't believe in ghosts—until mysterious events in the centuries-old mansion he's just purchased start him thinking about pirates, treasure, and a handsome, sexy presence that's about to make itself felt in a very physical way.
A writer, actor, and personal trainer, Jay Starre once owned a horse ranch in the rugged interior of British Columbia. Jay now pumps out gay erotica from his downtown apartment in Vancouver, British Columbia, only two blocks from the beach. He won second place in the 2002 Mr. BC Leather Contest and was nominated for a 2003 Spectrum Award for one of his gay-themed science fiction stories. He takes advantage of the mild Vancouver weather by cycling and hiking nearly every day.
We've all read books where the magical peen comes along and solves all the problems. Well, that's nothing, this books has a magical ghost boner that is an instrument for time travel.
It also has sentences like: "He spread his feet wider, he squatted to open himself up, and he grunted like a gored pig as the cock slid all the way home. A pair of hairy ghost's nuts nestled between his own hefty but firm butt cheeks."
I'm pretty sure the magic peen caused insta love too. I mean, he was busy because "He (Martin) rode the fuck like the pirate ship rode the storm on the sea." So, hard to say, but that's why there's a sequel! WOOOOOOP!
Will Martin find true ghost boner love with William Heathcliff, buccaneer of the West Indies???? Avast! I need to know!
This little story packs a swashbuckling twist you won’t soon forget.
I read the blurb for Pirate Ghost and I was intrigued. I mean, hey, a ghost that inhabits a house...I’ve read the premise before. But I hadn’t read it quite the way this one is told. Jay Starre writes in a fluid way, I couldn’t help but keep reading. I wanted to know more about Martin and the ghost.
Now this is a short story, so there’s not a whole lot of pages, but there is a whole lot of story. Granted I wanted a little more in spots and there were moments when the story seemed to jump quickly, but it wasn’t enough to prevent me from enjoying the story. I rather liked the voyeuristic qualities of the ghost. He’s a piece of work. And then there’s Martin. The guy comes off a bit smug at first. I had a hard time liking him. But, he certainly grew on me. He still gets what he wants...but it’s interesting how the author works it out.
This book delivers heat and heart. I wanted to see the story work itself out and I rooted for Martin to get his heart’s desire.
If you want a hot story that’s got a bunch of little twists and turns you won’t see coming, then you need to read Pirate Ghost. It’s a great tale.
