Adell is the lone human being in a world of humans-turned-demons, made by Overlord Zenon. It's Adell's task — and burden — to defeat Zenon and restore his friends and family to their normal selves. But summoning an Overlord is not easy. When Adell tries to call Zenon, he ends up with his daughter, Rozalin. Now, bound by contract, Adell promises to take Rozalin back to her father. However, it will take much more than blind courage to defeat her all-powerful father and save the world. This graphic novel features an exciting storyline and appealing characters from the cult-hit video game.
This was such a fun bridge between the first two games. I always felt a little disjointed in the transition but this interconnected everything really nicely. I can’t wait to read the next two volumes!
My favorite part was when Laharl made them give up with force. because he used one move to make them give up. It was his favorite tech. my least fav part was when Zenon put a curse on veldime holt village. it turned evreyone into demons. Adell saw it with his own eyes as his parents turned into demons. The part that made me laugh was when laharl was dragged by flonne and she was by mistake choking him.
1\13\10.
Also my other fav part is when laharal put up that poster that said fight the overlord for 25,00000000 hl it was funny. I wonder how he got over to adell's place. Also how did etna get over there. flonne probaly flew over there. It was like people there are morons who would pay that much to fight laharal. Etna come to the caslte and why does flonne say "miss etna "can't she just say etna.
i loved all of the video game references. loved them! i even laughed when i correctly identified the hokuto no ken reference. hekaton even nailed the chapter previews (which were sadly missing in the last disgaea). while i liked it better than the previous book, i just could not bring myself to rate it higher though.
