Lovely designs, well explained. If I had one criticism, it would be that not all of the projects use unique patterns.

There are some very cute patterns in here. I haven't worked with yarn before but this makes me want to try it out. Otherwise, the patterns are easily transferable to simple cross stitch. I think it's great there are things to make in this book rather than just designs to stitch.

Cath Kidston is a master at what she and her team do and that cute, kitch and qwerky. There are some lovely patterns to follow and useful tips for when you get stuck. If you can get hold of a copy with the free kit do as it make the loveliest purse that would gladly grace her stores.

Love Cath Kidston and her retro/vintage/boho/shabby chic style. Looking forward to trying some of her projects in 2014.
