When Teens Pray: Powerful Stories of How God Works

Rate this book
When Teens Pray richly demonstrates how God has intervened as teenagers have sought Him. Each chapter features true-life stories of the power of teens' prayers as they intercede for their high schools, families, and friends; as they pray on the mission field; and as they deal with the struggles of adolescence. "God links" -- dynamic prayer strategies supplied throughout the book -- help the reader connect with God. These amazing stories demonstrate that teenagers don't have to finish college or go to seminary for God to use them; they can impact their world and see their own lives changed as they pray -- wherever they are!

This book is a compilation of different ,true, and really amazing stories of young people who had the faith to pray against all odds. Sometimes we hear of God doing miraculous things for others, but we don't believe He can do much for our own situations. Reading this book made me aware of the power of God. He truly is amazing.

1. I read this book to my Sunday School class. It was a great tool to talk about how kids pray and opened up discussion of what they need to pray for in their lives.
2. It was also eye opening for them to see that just because they are teens, big things can happen through them.
3. It was set up in short stories so it was accessible material for short times of instruction or reading time.
