The Re-Release of Ms. Glenn's story is under: Blood Sacrifice by Stormy Glenn
Being a demon isn't always fun. Being a demon summoned to a satanic ritual is downright miserable. Isaac Braden spends most of his time being a rich recluse but every so often he's introduced to someone new when he's summoned… a blood sacrifice. And tonight Jory Daniels has been chosen to be that sacrifice.
In a satanic ritual summoning gone bad, Isaac finds himself eternally bound to Jory. He has to have the man's blood in order to survive. But when Jory wants something in return, can Isaac submit enough to allow it or will his demon nature take over and cause him to lose the best thing that ever happened to him?

About Me I believes the only thing sexier than a man in cowboy boots is two, or three men in cowboy boots. I also believes in love at first sight, soul mates, true love, and happy endings.
I live in the great Northwest region of the USA, with my gorgeous husband and soul mate, two boxer/collie puppies, one old biddy cats, and three fish. When I'm not being a mother to my six teenagers or cleaning up after my two 70 pound lap puppies, you can usually find me cuddled in bed with a book in my hand and a puppy in my lap. Or on my laptop, creating the next sexy man for one of my stories.

I really liked this story. It is written with lots of humor, and made me laugh at some of the inner thoughts of both main characters. Yet there is a somewhat serious undertone as well, when 'free will' for demons becomes an issue. The stance Stormy Glenn takes here is that being born a demon is no different from being born a human, or a shifter, or anyone else. It is just genes. Does it mean you have to like it? Her answer is a resounding 'no'. I thought that playing with that idea made for a great story.
Aside from that? Jory is a great character who keeps Isaac, the demon, slightly unbalanced. The surprising twist about who Jory is was as delightful as the bantering betweeen the two main characters.

While ths story has an interesting cast of characters, it took me a long time to figure out who the main guys were. The setup was longer than the actual struggle and solution, and it kept me from enjoying the story. The core of the idea (that a lover/mate can also want to be a slave) was interesting, but that conflict didn't become clear until the very end - when it was already solved. I would have loved to see the main characters realize this earleir and struggle with it more.
So, the story was really good. I haven`t read a lot of books for Stormy but I like it. The story was enjoyable and easy to read. I liked the whole idea but for me plot was unfinished. I wanted more. I wanted to know what that cousin - Desmond had against Isaac. Why he attacked Isaac? What's the deal with this book? Why has he collected the real names of demons? So many questions left unanswered...and I definitely want more of Jory and Isaac. That's why I found the story to be too short. I think that there potential for much more. Otherwise as to their relationship - and Jory and Isaac behaved terribly childish in the middle of the story.Jory acted like an idiot!!! It was obvious that they die for each other but and both obviously wanted to be difficult and to keep their opinions.Isaac wanted to talk get to know each other little and and he wanted to be equal in their relationship. But Jory was stubborn to the last. And finally ...misunderstanding. And yet there was something that kept my attention until the last moment.I liked the dynamics between them. The way they cared for each other. It was lovely and sweet.

Short. Nice and light. It took me a while to figure out exactly what is happening. I wanted to further develop the relationship between Chase and Dracu.
Jory is an annoying presumptuous dick! I actually feel bad for Isaac being stuck with him forever!
Spoiler rant: . . . . . . . . . . So he assumes that the reason Isaac is not 100% "fuck me now I want it!" Is because he wants Jory to be submissive always?! They just met! Isaac wanted to talk get to know each other first but he was ok with being fucked by Jory, he didn't even refuse! He was obviously giving Jory a chance! U know some ppl don't get turned on from there, or had a bad experience and are scared! Or are just fricking virgins and are nervous!! Thats what talking's for to fix misunderstandings!! But what does Jory do?! Leave ! Avoid him for 2 weeks!!! 2 fucking weeks!! Then has the gall to accuse Isaac of not being a good communicator (obviously Isaac isn't perfect but at least he tries !!! And puts himself in Jory's position!! Empathizes with him!!!) and accuses Isaac of wanting him to be submissive all the time! With what proof? What facts? The fact that he fucked him once to save his life? Against his better judgement ? OMG how annoying can Jory be! Continuously acting obnoxious and keeping secrets will expecting Isaac to spill his life story, clearly becoming the master of Isaac yet accusing Isaacs fear of being controlled as incomprehensible, not attempting to understand Isaac at all! I mean as soon as they made up he fucked Isaac without asking him how he felt about it or trying to get to know him, it made it seem like that's all he's after! And on top of it all he sucks Isaacs blood without asking permission first!!! WTF ?! Jory's such a dick!
Ok first up I've only got through the stormy glenn portion of this book.. AND WOW, set me on a spinner and spin me.. cause that's what Stormy did with her story.. I don't know how I missed the plot twist but when it got there it was like DOH!!! should have seen that coming. I'd like to see more on this story, but I doubt we will. It was fairly well packaged no real plot holes were left with out a vaneer of explanation, although some were thin.. Fell for the lead two players quickly.
Will finish the rest of the book this week.
~big break between starting and finishing~
The second story in this book is by H.C. Brown. and introduces me to a new author. It took me ages to get into this story but I think that was mostly my own preconceptions from a name used in the book. Once I sat down to read... wow GREAT idea expanded into quite a story. There were a couple of loose ends left generally speaking but otherwise the characters and the plot were well formed and generally well thought out. Some new angles were formed from old ideas and these were quite pleasing. I shall hunt out any more titles from this author.
WORST FUCKING NOVELLA EVER!!!!!!! I didn't read the first one, just because i have faith in Stormy Glenn, but it was my first H.C. Brown story, and honestly? I hated it. Sorry, nothing personal. It's just that your story sucks donkey bandannas. This is not a BDSM story, hell it's not even an SM story. The relationship between the characters is so wrong in a stupid, twisted kind of way that i could go fly a kit. If idiots could have fly the story would have taken place in a fucking airport. Thats my personal opinion. Phew... It's so good sometimes to blew all that you have on your soul...
