But she received plenty of encouragement. Her dad gave her an already old Everest typewriter when she was about ten, and it was probably the best gift she'd ever received – until the inventions of the home-computer and the worldwide web.
Chris's reading and writing interests range from historical, mystery, and paranormal, to science-fiction and fantasy, mostly in the male/male genre. She currently lives in a small and ancient city in the south-west of the United Kingdom, sharing her usually chaotic home with an extended family, two large dogs, fancy mice, sundry goldfish and a young frilled dragon (Australian lizard) aka Trogdorina.

This short gives you the background you need to enjoy more fully Clue Game which is released today. Ben’s absolute fear of commitment caused him to run a year ago when David pushed for more. He now realized he was an ass and regrets it but life goes on.
He runs into David’s business partner Barbie in New York, where he’s now working, who delights in telling him how she jumped into David’s bed, and life is gloooorious, oh and by the way, he wants you to come and help him buy a book at auction. Against his better judgement Ben goes and is kicking himself even more when David stands him up. He finally confronts David at his apartment, prepared to lay into him and tell him what a jerk he is, but perhaps Barbara’s reasons for being in New York were a little less truthful than she let on.
I really did love how Ben let it all out when he finally confronted David. But I’m all about a good tirade to get your feelings out (in fiction). I’m not sure I liked the fact that David so quickly took Barbie into his bed when Ben left but you never really get the whole picture, just how Ben perceived it. It was a cute story of two guys who had it all and then let it all fall apart and need a bit of a push to take those steps to repair the damage.

A fun, short read of revenge (of a sort) gone wrong (sort of). =)

Good short m/m romance about a guy who's supposed to meet his ex to accompany him to a book auction but gets upset and a bit vengeful when his ex doesn't show.
