I think this is a good book because it tells you what a tornado does. On April 3,1974 148 tornadoes were stuck in 13 states. More than 300 people were killed and over 30,00 buildings were destroyed.

Non-Fiction (TOC, bolded words/glossary, map, fact file, more books to read, index)
3-6

It's a Heinemann non-fic, so it's good. Set up for easy reading, but with good content. Nice font and layout with photos make the book easier to read and go quickly. Each 2-pg spread is an entry in the TOC and has a title heading, helping to focus the reader. Great example for NF text features.

Txt Set Ideas: weather, earth science, human populations.
