This is a 6 week course in basic Spanish for beginners. Grammar is cut back to the essentials and the vocabulary limited to around 500 words. I can't really comment on its utility to a novice, but as a refresher for someone who did Spanish GCSE c. 10 years ago, it was a fantastic one-week refresher course.
