Right! I bought this book in the 80s and I thought I hadn't read it. But it all came back to me as I did.
I was, and still am I guess, a huge fan of The Police. So I've bought one or two books about or by them. This one is pretty average at best. The photos inside aren't great and are mostly from one gig. The writing is pretty poor and lacks real depth/insight. Also I thought there was a single called 'Just We' when I was younger due to bad editing.
Very much from an American angle if focuses on The Police breaking America and how America invented everything from Rock n Roll to punk.
It was an interesting step back to my youth, but I wouldn't recommend buying and reading it.
