Lucy loves her new neighbor. One, because he's seriously hot; and two, because he leaves his window open while getting himself off. What she doesn't know however is that Nate can see her too. Every evening, he watches her undress, the blue film covering her window not enough to mask her silhouette. He's already half in lust with her body and that's before he knows what she looks like, apart from her round breasts and even rounder ass.
Things accelerate when Nate takes matters into his own hands and invites her to his condo. But will lust still prevail when another man invites himself to the party?
Emma Hillman has been writing stories in her head ever since she can remember. When the Internet started and she realized she could type them up and share them with the world, she knew she'd found her calling.
These days she divides her days between a full-time job, her lovely daughter, a cat who meows at 6am every day for his breakfast, and a dog who chases after flies.
This was a good book for what it was. It was extremely unbelievable though and I really wish for plot. There was almost zero plot. But, that being said doesn't mean it was a bad book. It's pretty much what you think it is, and that aspect of the story was done well. I just wanted more story and I have tons of questions
Wow. Suuuper hot; right up my alley. Took me a while to realize the setup is very close to one I've long wanted to see: h&H are caught/watched by his BFF, who then joins them. She's apprehensive, but his being there sets her off like never before. After a weekend of this, he notices "something happening" between them and, not wanting to stand in the way of their HEA, he quietly bows out, leaving H&h as a couple.
Liked the characters; they seemed convincing and realistic. Nate's friend Rodrigo was a little scary at first (I was worried he wasn't going to take no for an answer), but I liked how he evolved. LOVED how service-oriented the guys were; aww yeah. Especially Nate's reluctance to let Rodrigo join them… which is only overcome because 'if this is what she wants, then okay.' (Love. That.) Very very hot sex scenes.
If only it had been a bit longer. I would have liked to explore Nate's feelings of jealousy (Lucy responds so intensely to Rodrigo's presence— and is totally clueless as to how that makes Nate feel) and Rodrigo's heavily-hinted-at "issues" (that guy totally needs his own book).
Weirdly, I actually appreciated Lucy's discomfort on rear entry (it's always so eye-rollingly easy in books). Ditto for getting uncomfortably dried out when attempting underwater sex!! (Not sure why she was so naive about that, but whatever. I know her boring-missionary ex-husband is supposed to explain it, but… eh. Whatev!)
One big disappointment: in the beginning Nate muses twice that MysteryWoman (Lucy), who he's only seen in deep shadow, could be light-skinned, dark-skinned, whatever— and he doesn't seem to care—but when it comes down to it, she's a green-eyed strawberry blonde. SIGH.
All in all, a super quick, super sexy read. 4.0 panties! ;P
Not much plot but it's an enjoyable love scenes. :)
You can tell this is the author's fantasy put into a book. Most of the book she has is kinda the same. Wherein the lady is full figured (breast and butt), kinda insecure and who found a guy who is really into her and another one who is only there for the ride.
