This was an easy, comforting read, and for that alone I didn't hate it. I didn't exactly like it either. The heroine, Meiriona, erred slightly on the side of stupid, but her main fault was just that she didn't have much substance. As for Godric, the hero, one second he's domineering and fighting for control, the next he's thinking lovey-dovey thoughts and being nice to Meiriona. These two facets of him didn't mesh well in my opinion. He was an all right guy masquerading as a dick, but he never groveled. And though I thought he needed to, it was clear he didn't think he needed to. He blamed Meiriona for everything, and while she tried to stand up for herself, she eventually just capitulated. I didn't like that at all. Godric's past trauma and only being surrounded by women who "don't know how to love" or whatever doesn't give him license to act like a man-baby and treat Meiriona as if she's already done something wrong.

QUE DESASTRE
lo mejor es que me he reído mucho, en mi cerebro los personajes tenían voces ridículas.
Es el típico libro de secuestro en el que ambos se enamoran, aunque el sea un jilixxllas. Lleno de clichés machistas, de personajes fuertes, bondadosos, estúpidos, que no piensan y que claro su dolor ante los demás, todo eso en todos los personajes. Típica novela romántica super toxica. Todo pasa en 1400 poco en Inglaterra y cada personaje pertenece a bandos enemigos.
Me he reído mucho pero por todas las chorradas que pueden decir por eso las dos estrellas.

This story takes place in 1470 England, and I love to read books set in this time. All of the castles and knights, Jessica Trapp really does a good job in describing the castle keep and making it feel real. Master Of Pleasure has a great revenge theme and though the only love scenes are towards the end of the book, I never really felt like anymore was needed to improve the story.

Un hermoso libro aunque la frase "Ay, Dios" se repitio mil veces jajajajjaja y bueno pense que por el titulo quizas seria mas Hot, pero igual hermoso y me encanto lo posesivo que era el sin llegar a dañar y lastimar, ese puño envuelto en el cabello de ella....dio un toque muy erotico y posesivo.

This is my first good romance novel experience. Strong leading characters and witty dialogue. Thoroughly enjoyed the medieval setting and Meiriona's internal struggle to choose between what was morally "right and proper" for a lady of her station and what was naturally right to her heart.
