second in his Mars series. Decent but not as much compelling adventure as I remember from the John Carter books of ERB.

The Gypsies.
The author Al Sarrantonio surprises with the second book of this trilogy as it gets really good, with amazing unheard of alien creatures and machines.
Expected and unexpected twists are awesome and really good.
Beautiful narration by Bruce Donnelly for each of the characters in this creation.
Without a doubt,
got my recommendations !!!

I really enjoyed this book - more than I expected. It was easy to connect to the characters and to imagine the settings. Very well done!
