The character that everyone loves to hate is back. Amaryllis Price, once a relationship destroyer and professional husband stealer has turned her life around. Now that she's made a vow to live right and walk the straight and narrow, Amaryllis finds herself at a crossroads when her past catches up with her. Charles Walker, a man Amaryllis could never resist, appears, and he's even sexier than Amaryllis remembered. Will she remain celibate and resist the wiles of the devil?

When you make the decision to give yourself to God and adhere to His way, something or someone always challenges that. God's guidance will keep you steady.
This is the seventh novel I have read by Ms. Nichols. I read it in a day. Again, I laughed, I cried and I meditated. With each novel, I have gained something.

This was the follow up to A Man's Worth so you know Amaryllis was at it again. However, this book was more of a testament to the fact that God never gives up on his children. Amaryllis and her sidekick, Bridget, were able to see that change would come in their lives. Amaryllis would see that she had to do more than "talk the talk." She saw that reverence to the Father was also embodied by "walking the walk." Other characters would emerge and opportunities abound would be presented to each lady along their Christian walk. Crossroads was saturated with Ephesians 4:15 (speaking the truth in love and growing in every way more and more like Christ).

There are so many moments throughout the book where you will laugh, become dismayed or possibly become irate. You see it's at those times when you see the awesomeness of the author. It was during those times when I understood the dilemma best about "the struggle being real." Nikita in the foreword had stated that upon submitting this work....that it took much prayer, much rewriting and conversations with her mother. Her readers had been asking for the book....they wanted to know more...wanted to know where Amaryllis was and what was going on...but she couldn't quite capture the essence without great struggle...such was the "crossroads."

I've often been told and reminded that OUR God meets us where we are. That meeting takes place everyday...we just have to acknowledge it and make a decision as to whether to pick up the cross and follow him. Amaryllis was trying hard to follow Christ. Little steps had been taken and many amends had been made. But, she was never more rattled than when she attended a Women's conference in Vegas. The Prophetess spoke boldly about the difference between "a woman and a lady" and called out every sleeping demon/skeleton that besieged the women that were present. She gave a testimony about herself. She had to go to the throne and ask forgiven because she was being unclean and not held herself up to the standards established by the Father.

She also prophetically called out each woman. Each woman was called out in such a way as not to render embarrassment to her. It soon became known that "there were no little "I's" and big "U's" and all had fallen short of the glory of God. Some of her words were ugly and harsh...but they were indicative of the acts being committed. Amaryllis was rocked when The Prophetess whispered to her "your private area is a dirty drain." She stated to Michelle, " you are kind hearted and soft...your world will be rocked in a coupe of months...remember faith ain't fun and favor isn't fair" and yes, with Bridget she stated "your tongue is your downfall". I could go on and on about how she called out every lady and their situation. Call outing the woman that was being battered at home, the junkie and the lesbians was no small matter. Nobody but God could have orchestrated such a conference....nobody but God could have ensured that The Prophetess stood and delivered the message that he alone had given many times before. Nobody but God would continue trying to get his children to understand the harm that they were doing to themselves. Nobody but God could help them to see and embrace Jeremiah 29:11-14. Are you there yet.....are you at the "crossroads!" Thank you Nikita L Nichols for helping us to see that we are still on the potters wheel and that none but the righteous can see God!

I enjoyed reading this book cause it's well written and funny. Crossroads by Nikita Lynnette Nichols is a good and amazing read. I love the concept and vibe. This book will not allow me to put it down because it's a page turner and nice attention. Nikita Lynnette Nichols did a good job.

I am ready to writing my review for this book. Amaryllis was a relationship destroyer, professional husband , and boyfriend stealing but she has turned her life back together. She realizes that she was cold-heart and disrespectful to her sister, and her ex-boyfriend in her past. Amaryllis decides to attended to the church and make her vows because she wants to walk straight and narrow in her life. She made a big mistakes in her past but she is a better person and she made a commit and saved in God. She allows God to come into her life. When she met Charles, she finds a good man who loves her and treating her like queen. Also, Charles teaches her how to released and reappear in her lives.

Amaryllis and Bridgette are wonderful friends and both of them learn how make people and myself laugh. Michelle and James are weird couples but they give my nervous. They quotes, "Hey gorgeous, I missed you! I am not the gorgeous one, baby, you are. Not me, you are/ No, you are!"Bridgette is also annoyed and complaining too much in this book but she makes me laugh and cry at the same time. Michelle was boring and stubborn because she doesn't want to loose up and have fun with her sister Amaryllis and Bridgette when they went out to get their pamper and shopping for themselves. My favorite quote in this book, " I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by reviewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. " Romans, chapter twelve, verse one.

However, I'm surprised and shocked that Amaryllis and Michelle are twins and their parents are lying to them. I understand that how Amaryllis is acting mean and cold-heart blood because she's learning from her grandma and mama. I am happy that Amaryllis is good role model to her niece Amaris because Amaris is acting the similarities as Amaryllis when she was 16 years old.

This book is learner processing for everyone and myself. I love to read a good Christian Fiction. I could related the author and Amaryllis characteristics. I am looking forward to read more Amaryllis and author.

Enjoyed this book but not as much as the first two. Amaryllis and Bridget are back but they have both turned a corner and began a new walk with Christ. However for Bridget a new walk is better than a new talk because she still can't control her tongue which gets her in trouble one times to many. Amaryllis is really determined to change and be a new creature in Christ, but she says these men just "keep making her go back and do those old things ". Thankfully there is the level headed sister Michelle to pull their coattails and make them take a really good look at themselves. I've got to admit "Ghetto Fabulous and Ghetto Marvelous" as Michelle called them had me cracking up at their behavior when Michelle took them shopping. I mean talking about keeping it real they had no filter whatsoeva and that's what made them hilarious but it's also what made Michelle so embarrassed. One of my favorite scenes was when they were at the women's conference and started to "speak in tongues". They were crazy and Michelle was lit!!! Speaking of the conference that was ministry straight from the pages of the book. Made you really want to be in that audience.
My least favorite part of the book was the ending. I hate how it just skipped 16 years in a page. There was no build up to baby Amaris becoming teenage Amaris. And we never get the answers to why they girls parents lied and why they were separated at birth and not told the truth. We don't know what happened to Amaryllis and Charles. And with Charles all we know is that he went to church one Sunday, planned to go next Sunday and now he is saved. There was no story to his story. There was so much information left out that there could have been another book. I would have rather seen the book end at Amaris's birth and then pick up with a new book about the parents deception, the development or demise of the relationship between Charles and Amaryllis and the story and warfare with Amaris. Overall a good read.

Amaryllis may be saved now but she is still a work in progress (as we all are). She has vowed to God to be celibate, she is regularly attending church, bible study, and Sunday School!

Thanks to Randall who gave her a personalized sermon she is doing very well. Oh but the devil is waiting. He tests her time and time again. Will she be able to stand?

Then, just when her life begins to even out a little, here comes the devil again! But God! Once you make a choice to trust Him He will keep you in the midst of some crazy situations!

I wish I could tell you but you have to read it for yourself!

I promise you won't be disappointed! This book was more than entertainment, my soul has been ministered to.

Thank you, Nikita.
I'm a fan for life!

I think this author is obsessed with boobs. Also the books describes the main character as very beautiful but the person on the cover does not reflect that. This book was ok.
