This was a really helpful introduction to homeopathy. It provided information on the history and founders of this science and how remedies were discovered. In addition, not only did the book discuss the importance of the individual's personality and constituion, but provided a questionaire to identify the individual's consitutional type discussing the types and their strengths/weaknesses related to health. As the name would imply, the remainder of the book provides extensive information about the various homeopathic remedies, how to use them, what they are used for and the constitutional types that benefit most from them.
I thought the book was very informative and fascinating. The one problem I had was the quiz in the middle, to tell you which constitutional type you are. I took it, of course, but I will still need to go to a homeopath to really find out what type I am. I had too many categories that were only a few points apart, unless I happen to be about 4 different types all at once!
I had to read this for school. It explains all the basics of Homeopathy and gives you everything you need to start working with remedies for yourself, family, and friends. Actually, from using the book I found a few remedies to use for everyday health challenges around the house, and also some to help my mom's Parkinson's and my dad's shingles flare-up. It's amazing how well the remedies work!
This seemed like a good overview of homeopathy. Most of the book is devoted to descriptions of various remedies, but there is also some information on the history of homeopathy, as well as a questionnaire to help the reader determine their constitutional type.
Beautiful book. Thick pages, gorgeous pictures. Easy to read text, tons of info, lots of side notes. It was worth it just for the constitutional type quiz. I don’t like writing in my books but I do love a quiz 💕😂 Sections In constitution types, common remedies and less common remedies. Then an ailment section.
This was interesting. I’m still sceptical, but planning to try some homeopathy for my upcoming birth...even if it has only a placebo effect, I’ll take it, thank you.
