This book is written by the father of forensic science in Singapore in the 1990s. Although Prof Chao wrote in a professional concise, matter of fact tone, I was subconsciously drawn into the world of criminal forensics and his analytical approach towards each case study. A delightful read and a unique gem to Singapore's writing scene

Nothing fiction about this one. All words practical. And I like it that way. Each case is written and explained so comprehensively, I became more interested in the business of forensic and pathology. Perhaps it is occupational hazard, I was never interested in crime until I started writing crime thriller. This book is definitely a good read for that very purpose.

However, I lament the too short book because it was really interesting, but i guess there will never be another book from Prof Chao
