A typical comics story from the 1990s. Although the drawings are not bad, and neither is the composition of the boards, in comparison with today's stories these do not really seem to have the necessary verve. The character is the classic vigilante who somewhat mimics Batman, but without having his charisma. Let us hope that the subsequent stories will be better than this one.
Interesting enough, a little hard to follow at points, but like with all of the early image books the art is the star of the show, and it’s great! Hard to tell if this book is trying to toy with the idea of an aggressive vigilante being as bad as the criminals, or if the book is just treating Shadowhawk like he’s plain-and-simply awesome
Overall an interesting story and good concept, I have a little difficulty caring for or cheering on the “hero” of this title as he is as bad as the criminals he attacks. I’m not a vigilante story fan. Artwork is very enjoyable to see.
