I'm interested in continuing because I kind of want to see what comes of Shindo's mother, but I feel like getting through these is a chore? Like I partially enjoy it, but am partially bored. I like the characters, but I don't support a romance between Shindo-san and Uru. She just seems to young, but I know that's where it's going to go. I don't have anymore physical volumes so I guess it just depends on if I want to put in the effort to find a decent version online.

“Why do you always… Do this? You always … You always cry by yourself..!” Ohh god that moment… that hug between Shindo and Uru??? That was everything!!!!
Also, I loved the dads (manager and Abekawa senior) fighting over Uru, being their future daughter in law! So funny lol. But I didn’t appreciate Ichiro and Mitsuka convincing Shindo and Uru that their feelings weren’t what they obviously are… Really??? A big brother??? A cuddly animal you want to pet??? Let them be happy!!! Let us readers be happy too, dammit!!! Lol

I didn't follow the school festival plot very closely, and I'm not into love triangles. I liked that Shindo opened up to Uru, but it was a brief moment that was soured quickly afterwards with miscommunication and everyone meddling.

It was actually a pleasant read. Plus the illustrations were really cute. But dang! That ending is so lacking! Where's the most anticipated kiss?!!!

Series Review: Happy Cafe is a sweet and funny manga that is a great light read.The characters are hilarious (often times even the bad guys) and the plot is never boring despite its slower pace. The romance is a slowly developing relationship that is refreshing in a overfilled market of instalove trends. The ending was kinda rushed but cute in its own way. I recommend this manga to those who are looking for a light read.

Today is my bummed out by Tokyopop day. My current fave shojo manga. Sigh, it's so sweet and cute and now I have to wait and hope that someone picks it up so I can find out if Uru and Shindo get together. (Although, he is right to be worried about Sou...)

THE SIDE COUPLE'S STORY IS SAUR GEWD aizawa and arimoto having rivals to lovers when he's actually already fall for her and she's completely oblivious of it ugh I'm eating this up everytime
