Preaching What We Practice: Proclamation and Moral Discernment

Rate this book
From the terrorist attacks of September 11, through the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, to issues such as stem cell research, abortion, and euthanasia, contemporary Christians are faced, almost daily, with the need for moral discernment. This book offers background as well as practical strategies for preachers in addressing such issues. It examines how preachers can help listeners cope with these and other challenges, and even welcome such questions as people of faith.

Overall, a solid summary on preaching. I appreciate the brevity. No reason to use in this book more words than are necessary. A good quick read for any preacher.
