You'll never look at the humble garden gnome in the same light again after reading this cracker of a story.
Johnny has made his money from a series of gnome stories but when the house he builds encroaches on the forest the darker spirits of the forest fight back by inhabiting the 'bodies' of four garden gnomes.
The characters of the four gnomes are brilliant and a laugh a minute and when they increase their numbers (a greedy gnome, a camp gnome, a gnome with tourettes and more) things just get better.
The only thing that stopped me giving this 5 stars (and believe me I really, really wanted to give it 5) was the usual editing problems that come with 'indie' books (but having said that there were not that many)
All in all, a wonderful book which I would encourage anyone with a love for b-movie horror to pick up. Probably Mr. Neild's best so far for me

Didn't like this one much. A bit gory in places and towards the end very strong language used. Not in the least bit scary.

Was hoping for some humour in this book but it was total drivel.
