I hated both leads and would rather watch paint dry than ever read the phrase “J. G. O’Malley and Sons” ever again.

Amelia O’Malley is a young woman traveling through the Arizona Territory out to prove to her father and brothers that she is a worthy book-selling agent. She has been written off by her family as not worthy of much, so she feels like she has a lot to prove. When her stagecoach is “robbed” she finds herself “taken captive” by an infamous bandit.
Mason Kincaid is on a mission. He needs to find the men who have his son. He is also a wanted man. When Amelia O’Malley is left behind by her stagecoach that she thinks he robbed, he feels the need to make sure that she is okay. Even though she slows him down and keeps him from getting to his son sooner, he needs to make sure she is safe.
This book is a quick and easy read. Both the hero and the heroine are good characters with just enough depth. The story is simple, but with just enough “intrigue” to keep you interested. Most of the love story deals with Mason pushing Amelia away and her being confused by these new feelings. There is one very long intimate scene that goes on for more than one chapter, yet is written very tamely.
Cute book, well written, nothing outstanding, but a fun read nonetheless.
