Other than a tendency to be repetitious now and then, this is one series that gets better and better, imo. Really enjoyed this one.

I’ve been enjoying this series, but this one went a little sideways. One of the main characters, Maggie ( though most of them have a variant of Mary Margaret) is getting on my nerves. The story dragged and just a bunch of senseless murders and activities. Hopefully the next one will be better.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books in this series, largely due to the witty sense of humour in them. This third book took several really dark and serious turns. I liked it, but the humour was missing, and it was actually pretty depressing. I'm going to read the fourth book right away after writing this review, and I really do hope it will be similar to the first two books, and not this one.

I neglected to look ahead, there are lots of books in this series. I really didn’t like any of the characters except Scott, the policeman. Everyone is unhappy and miserable. No more for me, a downer!

Great story

This series just gets better as I read each book. Even though there is a cliffhanger at the end I am amazed at what happens

We meet Ray, bartender is a front for selling illegal drugs, and his habit.
Scott is busy returning 20 years of stolen mail that Margie had in her attic. Giving .Mandy hers, and also wanting those for a Melissa Wright, she still won’t contact her mother that she is alive. Maggie and Gabe her first love, mysteriously left seven years ago,are having problems. More about the life in this town then a mystery.

I'm back to giving this series 3 stars. There are so many people and so much going on; it is definitely overload on characters. What I do like about this series is that all the titles from book 2 forward are names of flowers.
This book is jut a continuation of the first two. I just can not get excited about this series

Rose Hill, not the pleasant place everybody thinks especially when another body is found, and the link to drugs. Made more complicated when the FBI get involved. The story of how it seems everybodys' lives are affected.
A well-written story with its wide range of characters and a decent mystery.

Definitely not a whimsical mystery series, and this book is the darkest of the three I have read so far. Much-needed light moments in this book make it easier to go from one soap opera moment to the next.

Not for the faint hearted

This is not a "cozy" mystery. This book's characters are so human and comes with the nasty things we do to ourselves and others.

I did enjoy most of it, but some parts are rough to deal with.

Another author that does not finish the story. She leaves to many loose ends with the hope that you will buy the next book in the series to find out what happens to a favorite character. I am not going to buy 12 books to finish the story, no matter how good they are.

swirly mess

Hard to keep up with who is “sleeping” with who. It appears they are all a randy bunch. Looks like Brian was quite the sperm donor. Need a cheat sheet to keep track of the bedroom calls.

Wow

What a book! I am hoping there are more and Maggie gets her head out of her butt and the town finds out how Ava really is. This book keeps you turning the pages.

Another great book in the Rose Hill mystery series. I am binge reading the series, in order, and loving it. This one has an even more convoluted mystery where the lives of the small town residents are not necessarily as they seem on the surface. A major drug ring has had its talons in several characters, the Feds get involved, the County investigator backs off, but local Chief Scott Gordon works mostly behind the scenes and solves at least some of the mystery. Maggie and Scott's relationship seems doomed, Hannah and Sam have reconciled and she is pregnant, Tony and Sean may be getting together. Ava's husband returns as does Maggie's old boyfriend. I definitely look forward to reading the rest of the series!

Another great mystery

This book has done a good job of wrapping up a couple of the story lines started in the first two of the series. There are a couple of romantic entanglements left hanging still, and I'm sure the next book will bring more mystery to solve.

I enjoyed this one, but was a bit disappointed with Maggie's decision regarding Scott. We'll see how this turns out as I continue to read these. I will say one thing for this series, each book seems to kill off at least one creep from the town...

Book 3 of the Rose Hill series does not disappoint. Old (figurative) skeletons in the families keep popping up along with (literal) bodies, bringing federal agents to town making the police chief´s life even more complicated than usual. On to book 4, to find out what happens next!

Enjoyed.

Once again this town and residents came to life. Some characters I was happy to see go. I look forward to the next book.
