Jambrea wanted to be the youngest romance author published, but life impeded the dreams. She put her writing aside and went to college briefly, then enlisted in the Air Force. She was bit by the writing bug.

Cute free short m/m fairy tale reminiscent of Sleeping Beauty, with dragon shifters thrown in to make things more interesting.

Very cute take off on a fairy tale, with the virgin being a hidden curse, and the dragon being the hero. A fairy godmother in the form of a wand added to the cuteness.

It's got a foot through the fourth wall. In fact, it feels slightly off kilter, as if it's not quite aligned right in the "room" as plot analogy and is instead partly through the fourth wall.

It's a bit obvious at times, like actors going through the plot so impatiently they can't not reveal that they're working their way through the lines. It's not quite lampshaded, though, so it just becomes rather annoying.

I love these kinds of stories, where the author is given a list of items or characteristics that have to be included like the line 'Where the fuck is a Fairy Godmother when you need one?'.

Let me warn you: this story is hilarious and you are likely to laugh your way through it. I mean, the opening sentence alone got me hooked, and that was followed by a gradual discovery of all the secrets of this fairy tale world. A dragonshifter after a virginal prince asleep in a crumbling stone tower? The dragon’s sidekick wanting nothing but to eat the guy? This short story has it all, and was a total delight.

Blaze, a dragon shifter living with seven others of his kind as roommates, is determined to solve the puzzle of his attraction to the old stone tower, overgrown by weeds, of course. When they get in and begin to discover the tower’s secrets, the real hilarity ensues. Naturally, this involves all the traditional elements of a good fairy tale but in a somewhat unusual combination and setup. There is a virginal prince, a curse, an evil wizard, a fairy godmother – you name it, it’s in this story.

I you like fairy tales, but prefer them in “reinvented” format, if you’re ready for a laugh or two at the sheer hilarity of these characters and their circumstances, and if you’re looking for a read that is cute as well as very romantic, in the most traditional sense, then you will probably like this free short story. Just expect the unexpected in this original and creative tale of old school chivalry with a twist.

This was kinda cute, but way too short. And something about the writing really made it hard to read. I think it was the various grammatical errors and typos, and the conversation just didn't flow that well.

But two things saved it. First, dragon shifters. Enough said. Second, the names. They're awesome and exactly appropriate for dragon shifters - Blaze, Ember, Pyre, Flame, etc.

I did not enjoy at all. Very short book, but was surprised that this was a"different" kinda fairy tale. Where a dragon shape shifter is gay and finds his sleeping beauty in the tower.....I could not finish. Sorry. No likey!

I love dragon-shifters! It was a great take on a fairy tale kind-of theme. A fabulous little short read.

Super-cute short story! I hope the author will give us some more stories about these dragons. I have to say that a book about a dragon named Fizzle would be an autobuy for me.

So I was curious. Sue me. Not much of anything apart from sex to tell the truth which I actually enjoyed a little. Mindless but cute.

It was more of a 3.5 mostly because it needed serious editing - mostly for the format. Very entertaining!

A Sleeping Beauty tale where Beauty is a boy virgin and is rescued by dragon shifters. He is mated to the dragon Blaze and...HEA. This is a prequel, so it's very short.
