Reminds me of the TV show Ugly Betty, and its message that beauty comes in many forms. I LOVE this series!!!

Definitely bothered by the continuation of the situation with the woman following the brother around. Also really bothered to see the main character zone out of her right mind so completely that she tore apart her friends dress and necklace that was given to him by his mother. Spent a good chunk of his volume irritated quite frankly.

Tsukimi's voice in her Kagoshima dialect is still ringing in my mind every time I read the repeating "Mom". I found the dialect to be so charming!

Now that I'm done with volume 4, one thing noticeable between Tsukimi & Kuranosuke is that they're both obsessed with their mothers. And I'm getting tired of the misunderstanding between Shuu & her. However, the sense of humour is still at the high level as ever and I enjoyed that nonsensical jokes exchange between them and those reference to pop culture; most probably because I am able to follow & understand each and every one of them. One thing that the adaptation lacking is the pop reference of Hallyu that seems to be omitted totally from the drama but it is understandable why it is done differently.

The story flows really well between volumes, which is good, but also means I don’t really have anything specific to say about each volume...

Grow some balls, Tsukimi, and stop playing the victim! Hmph! (her lame unrequited love is pathetic... ) Can't you see that next to you is the awesome transvestite Kuranosuke? Or shall we call him, "Kurako"?

I think my favorite amars is Mayaya. She is so funny! Her movements and her Chinese-obsession always make me laugh...

The author mentions KAT-TUN (along with NEWS and Arashi) in her notes XD Another reason to love her!

This manga has finally deviated from the anime, and I feel that it brings even more life into the characters. It's funny, completely holds my interest, and is terribly sweet. I love it! Now to read the next volume.

I loved everything this series represented. it was comical while still being able to deal with overarching serious issues. I loved how different the characters were and how people choose to interact with someone that was so different from what was considered 'the norm.'
