This series just keeps getting better and better
and I am so happy to be part of the ARC team

few notes before tackling the review

1- this is not a standalone. you have to read the previous books in the series to understand what is happening and the characters mentioned

2- if you are a religious person like me, this series and this book in particular would be a BIG TRIGGER. for me I just put my belief aside, and pretend that these characters are not related to anything I know because the story is that good

3- PLEASE CHECK TRIGGER WARNERING. this is a dark dark romance with themes that may not be suitable for some

having said that, I think this book shows how much Hunt has matured in terms of story-line plotting, character building, and understanding of mythology

it is well constructed and gripping. the story is fast paced and a page turner. I couldn't put it down once I started

Becca, oh my heart, how can a woman who faced all this trauma still finds the courage and perseverance to carry on?? yes she did many questionable things but they were the only way to deal with what she went through

and Aedin, why is he called The Dark Prince of Sin again? he was the perfect grey love interest. Accepting, loving, unjudgemental, supporting. He had his teeny tiny moments but the care he gave to Becca was worth it

as with the rest of the series, the story fluxuates between the ancient past - what they were in previous lives - and the present connecting both worlds in stroke of genious writing

as a dark paranormal romance this was perfect

can't wait for Wrath
I've been waiting for this asshole's book for ever
but after the reveal in this book, I feel we are in for tear jerker

“Envy” is the story of a demon and his mate.

Aedin Envy is a demon prince of Hell and of the sin envy. While on Earth, him and his siblings own special clubs that cater to the “needs” of certain humans. Aedin’s is called, Club Envy.

Rebecca (Becca) Gibbons, is the lead singer of Red Riot. Becca also has the unlucky ability to see a person’s future flash before her eyes, with every person she meets.

Little does Aedin know that when he booked Red Riot to sing at his club, that he’d find his long lost mate. However, Becca has only one rule… Don’t sleep with the boss!

Overall, I enjoyed this book. It definitely had some beyond steamy scenes. I had no issues with Becca’s character. She was smart, knew what she wanted and was pretty straightforward. She wasn’t that “annoying” FLC that always did and made cringeworthy decisions.

Aedin on the other hand, is supposed to be this ancient demon that seemed to have no clue how to protect his mate. It was very annoying how this supposedly dominant and imposing demon constantly took a step back and hands off approach to anything Becca did. When things would go South, this Prince of Hell had to run to his siblings for help. I found myself rolling my eyes in quite a few spots.

It was an entertaining read, with an interesting twist at the end.

Please read the trigger warnings before getting into this book. Some of it is really quite gruesome and brutal and I can see how a person could get disturbed by the content.

I think the plot is quite interesting but when it got into previous lives it became very chaotic and confusing to make sense of. Part of the problem is that there are already so so many characters. The character list in the beginning is massive and helpful but with the pace of the book at times, going back and forth to that list doesn’t encourage one to keep reading.

Maybe if you started from the beginning of the series, all the characters wouldn’t be so confusing. But I also think the characters is where this book falls short. The modern versions of these people are just abhorrent. I really disliked the FMC. I get that there is so much trauma in her life and that would be so hard to move on from. Her processing about what to do or what choice she should make is just really unlikeable. Instead of feeling any empathy towards her, it really just pushed me away. There was also something somewhat rapey about the MMC as well. I wouldn’t read the other books in this series even though the story line is really interesting.

This is the 5th book in the Seven Princes of Sin series, and if you haven't read the rest I highly recommend you start at the beginning or you may get lost in the characters. This is another steamy, dark romance. There are plenty of dark elements throughout, and some trigger warnings are available.

I've been waiting on Envy, as the overall story is really starting to ramp up and I am anxiously awaiting the resolution. I'm loving the past lives bits where there is the right mix of ancient history thrown into the contemporary stories.

I struggled with Becca a bit, she wasn't always my favorite character, but I do at least get her motivations and why she did the things she did. That girl has had it rough!

The twist at the end and the teaser for Wrath have me waiting on the edge of my seat for the next one!

Another amazing read and continuation of the Seven Princes of Hell. Beelzebub also known as Aedin Envy is the Master of Envy plus the owner of Club Envy, which is an exclusive night club. Shanaera also known Rebecca Gibbons is the lead singer for Red Riot, alcoholic (with good reasons) and is promiscuous. All of the mates has had shitty lives before meeting their mates and Becca is no exception. Her past has been down right traumatic by abusers. There’s some very good revelations in this book, Ms. Hunt is now tangling a brownie in our faces. I can’t wait for Stan Wrath’s book and happy we’re one step closer to getting Luci’s book!!!! Read in order to better understand the series.

Where are my rockstars at? Aedin Envy is the baby of the seven prices and is treated as one. His cute face and soft features make his brothers more protective of him. Envy is the fifth book of the series and I honestly enjoyed it a lot! Rebecca is a lead singer/guitarist of her band Red Riot. One gig at Club Envy brought her closer to the man of her dreams. Plagued by visions of everyone’s future, she keeps her bottle of liquor close by to drown out her sorrows. Until she meets him again. Weeks spent with him were the best she ever had, until one faithful night when a stalker made her question him to know who he really is.

This book took me on one hell of a rollercoaster. I literally finished it in a few hours of how enthralled I was. The secrets that spilled from this book kept me on edge and I am so entuned with the series, that I can’t wait for the rest of the books to be published. The author’s writing is incredible, adding the perfect amount of love, spice, action, love, and adventure to keep us in their world. Each character introduced to the book was added to my list of fictional characters, hehe. Please don’t wait too long to finish Wrath, I can’t waitttt!

I loved Aedin and Becca’s story—this is #5 in the series so begin with Lust if you’ve never read them before. It wouldn’t be impossible to read as a stand-alone but reading through the series in order is def. better. This book has plenty of steam, as per usual, and also a twist at the end. I didn’t see that one coming! There are some trigger warnings but if you’re a fan of the series, it’s nothing you aren’t familiar with. As soon as I could download this book, I quit all my others because I have been waiting on Aedin Envy’s story! It didn’t disappoint. Less than 24 hours later, I’m done reading bc I simply couldn’t put it down. There’s a teaser for Wrath at the end of this book and now I’m desperately waiting to continue reading!

I received an arc for my honest review.

A slight change of pace. As the “youngest” of the Seven Princes, Aedin behaves in a somewhat more youthful way, and has to put up with his older brothers’ interference. He’s still a demon but he’s a bit softer than the others. Becca, like the other mates, had to suffer through terrible pain and abuse. And as if that’s not enough, she has a stalker. When she and Aedin meet, all he wants is to protect her but in the end, she learns how to protect herself. Certainly some painful, scary , steamy and emotional parts. (Be sure to note the trigger warnings!) A quick read.

Love this series so much. I can’t get enough of this demons they have become my favorites. Now we had Aedin story prince of envy and his mate Becca, with every story I have read of this mates finding one another it’s not a sweet and wonderful journey for sure you feel all the heartbreak all the happy moments they have until finally you get to their happy ever after, but there is still so much to come as as yet that I’m left wondering how all this heartbreaking journey will end for the Princes of Sin?

What do I say about this 5th book that actually does right by it without spoilers?

Here's my humble attempt…

This one is heavier on the Princes side of the story and is full of yummy little tidbits. Brandon and Will each have their moment as backside character. Stan and Luci have a little spotlight. All while Aedin struggles with his little Rockstar mate.

If you read the first 4 books you know the trigger warnings aren't to be ignored, especially in this one. But if you ever saw the movie Dogma: watch out for this books Nazareths appearance, one if the funniest bits of literary conversation ever. (too cryptic? Good!)

To S.N. Hunt, Thank you so so much.

I will wait for book 6, trying to fill the void with something that might help me steer clear from a bookhangover…

In this book, you get the story of how envy finds his mate. I would not recommend starting with this book you should read them in order. it will make more sense that way.
I really enjoyed the characters in this one. I didn't see the bad guy coming. The powers that the mates are getting, are becoming more interesting.
This does have some triggers so make sure to check them out before reading.

Ohh My God ( pun intended ) I love this series and this story is dark but I loved it nonetheless. I loved Becca who plays in a band and now they have a chance to hit it big in Club Envy Becca has been through hell and back but it has made her a stronger person. This is one of the best series I’ve read in a long time and I can’t wait to read more and I highly recommend this book/ series.

I was lucky enough to be apart of the arc team for this book! I highly recommend this series each book just gets better!

SN Hunt has don’t it again and delivered another amazing fated mates story!

Book 5 Envy follows the youngest of the seven princes Aedin and his mate Becca this are many dark twists and turns within their story which kept you hooked right until the very end! Not not this is book pace fast and action packed but we also find out some great little gems of info about some of the other princes which leads straight into the next book!

I highly recommend this book and series the world SN Hunt has created is incredible dark and twisted but also full of love and hope. But please check your trigger warning before!

OMG! These books just get better and better! Aedin is so intense in his attention to Rebecca. They are mischievous and playful in a delicious way. I was completely engrossed in the story. This book is another great addition to the series. The author does a good job of always having things that are unexpected in each book. And I always enjoy seeing both the current and past life of the character.

This is the 5th one and it still amazes me to see the Seven Deadlies personified. The religious aspects make you think/question even if you have fairly good biblical education.

Envy: A Dark Demon Paranormal Romance (Seven Princes of Sin Book 5)

4 Stars

Rebecca lives a difficult life and tries to stay in a haze to cope with her terrifying visions. At times, she feels like she's going insane. Envy's a little on the sad side. I would have preferred a lighter reading.

Overall, it's worth a read. This book kept me on my toes. I loved the banter, interesting characters, and enjoyed catching up with some of my favorite previous characters. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is book five in this series and they are best enjoyed if read in order. It's also a dark romance so please pay attention to the trigger warnings. Now that that's out of the way, lets get to the good stuff.

This story captivated me from the beginning. It's an emotional, angsty read that's full of dark themes and steamy scenes. It has a fast pace with a lot of twists and turns, and it kept me from wanting to put the book down. It's one of the darker stories I've read, but I loved it.

So, unlike the other books in this series, the MFC did not want to pursue the prince of Envy. She really did try her best. What I didn't like about this book is that she constantly fought with her own beast and didn't want the help. Other than that, the ending was WOW. The cliffhanger as to who Lil Will really is, is killing me!

S.N. Hunt has definitely grabbed my attention once again! The plot just gets thicker throughout the series and I can't get enough of it! The spice is there, the plot twists are great, and you know that she has put in a lot of research to be able to write this series in such a way that leaves you hanging on for more!

The premise of this series of books is fascinating with immortal creatures meeting their fated mate. It's romantic, but the sex tends to get in the way of the story. Unlike other books in the series, I didn't get the impression of "Envy" in this story. I really didn't care for the main characters, and it colored my impressions.

I think that there will be people who really enjoyed the story and it comes down to what you want to see in a book. If you are looking for lots of sex, get the book. I do plan on trying out the next book in the series to see how I like that one. After all, I did enjoy book 2 - "Gluttony".

Sexual Assault Alcohol Addiction Past Trauma. Open Door Romance
In this book, we have Aedin's story with Rebecca, a musician. Rebecca is a woman who has gone through a lot in her short life. She also sees 'images' and drink alcohol to make them disappear. I really empathized with her.
I like the romance, although it's a bit darker because of what Becca had to go through...
This book was nice, but i'd advise you to read the warnings before going into it
I'm glad that she found the HEA she deserved and the family that will cherish her .

She can't see his future but he leaves her breathless…

Rebecca lives life in a haze of alcohol and random encounters with men and women. It's the only way she can deal with her visions about the people around her without going insane.

This dark paranormal romance is mouthwatering! I received an advance copy but my review is honest and voluntary.
