I'm biased as I'm the co author of this book written in 2006! I think it still stands up as a social history and overview of the original Wembley Stadium, from the 19th Century mini Eiffel Tower there, to its crumbling and decayed demise over a century later.

I was disappointed that the publisher did not appear to edit the book and correct the typos and occasional garbled sentence.

I wish I'd written an additional chapter focusing solely on the women's events that took place there.
