Paul Frances was resurrected by his brother Jay after being shot by the Watcher. Paul is used to being a homicide detective, but after killing The Watcher he was promoted to spokesperson for the Metro Police Divison. However after a series of strange dreams where Paul sees the the events of various murders, Paul becomes interested in the details of bodies found as they sync with the horrible dreams he has been having. Trying to convice himself that he is not the commiting these horrible acts, Paul involves himself with medical examiner Brenda Wheaton. As they investigate suspicions and possible leads, Paul become more and more convinced that it is truely him committing the crimes. That is until his two daughters, M.K. and Bethany, and his brother, Jay, go missing. Paul must now throw all caution to the wind and believe in things that he can't explain in order to save his family in time. However, somethings are easier said then done.

This was an excellent sequel. It was full of all the same incredible aspects found in the first book, but with the focus on different characters. After the first book, "Resurrection", the reader learned a few things about Paul, which was enough for them to make a connection with him, making him a loved character. Putting him in such a gruesome perdictament in this book, keeps the reader on the edge of their seat with anxiety, praying that Paul is able to see his and his family's way out of it unscathed. I could not put this book down, its every word and every situation making me want more. Sara Reinke is a very talented author and i am looking foward to reading more of her works.

This book is a sequel to the Resurrection. It is another suspense of a serial killer. The brother of the first book became clairvoyant after being revived in first book by his brother that has ability to to raise the dead. He begins by having nightmares of women that are showing up dead, thinking that he was murdering them himself. This of course enables him in the end to find the ones last taken. The actual killer in this book put me by surprise. Can't say much more without giving away the rest. Good read.

Excellent sequel! At first I was concerned because the first book, Resurrection, was about his brother, and this was not panning out to be.. and well it ended up not being about him at all! It worked! What I thought was going to be and Oh no... was actually a really good thriller! The character development of his daughters worked and really touched on teens today not to in depth but enough of an understanding. It had some good twists and it was all in all a really good plot line. It made the hair on the back of my neck stand up - GOOD FOR TWO THUMBS UP in my book!

I was disappointed, at first, that it was not about the brother, but quickly got over it as the story progressed. In Resurrection (the first book) it was about Jay, the brother who actually resurrected people and who ended up resurrecting his brother Paul. This book is about Paul. It goes through his trials since the resurrection. It follows him and his daughters but also brings in Jay and his daughter. It was an awesome read with a twist at the end. I really enjoyed this book.

Sara Reinke has this and many other books available for free on her website. I would recommend reading "Resurrection" first, which is the prequel, and then this, which is superior to "Resurrection."

Very good mystery/suspense novel. A little disappointing that I figured out who the killer was fairly early on and there could have been more to the story at the end but all in all it was very good.
