Thus ends the Awaji Island Recapture Operation. It's been ages since the arc started, it feels crazy that we're finally done. It gives me a lot of excitement for what the next arc could be. The ending of Awaji Island certainly did a lot of teasing the nature of Musashi's powers as the Obsidian Goddess' Host. I can only assume the coming arcs will be about him aquiring and learning how to use the remaining four powers. Perhaps introduce more of this villain group. I like that this series is more long winded. I certainly don't get the feeling it's rushing towards the ending. It's taking it's time to flesh out every character and plot.

I have another two volumes to catch up after this one and I feel ill say the same thing, the art is amazing!
The build up has been great and the last few panels were quite well emotional, I'm curious at what happens after this
