Like the sons of Eli in the Old Testament, those who change parts of God’s liturgy to such an extent that it withdraws men from the sacrifice of the Lord, are not wanting today. Many today arrogantly usurp power against the wisdom of Holy Mother Church by changing the liturgy and this problem has caused a multitude to be driven away from the Church. Due to the grave consequences of liturgical abuse, the silence about this sin in many Catholic circles must cease. Hoping to help break some of the silence, the author provides the following publication.
Michael Lofton is a Byzantine Catholic and graduate of Christendom College Graduate School of Theology, where he received his Master of Arts in Theological Studies (Cum Laude) in 2018.
