Definitely a disappointment when you read what the author was hoping to get with this book.
When you plan on making a book for children, especially an ABC book, you should include some pictures for your young audience. Also with the subject matter within this book a great illustrator would have made all the difference with some beautiful artwork but unfortunately this was more a list of rhymes with a capital and lowercase letter in bold to show what letter you were on.
The other thing this book needed was a bit more of an explanation of a few of the subjects for a child wouldn't know understand what Ostara, Imbolc or Samhain were. Definitely a book with promise but it needs to be worked on first.
As the name implies, this is a nice little book to teach a child the ABCs that is presented with pagan words in mind. Nice rhymes to help the child as well while still incorporating what the words (Sabbats, etc) mean.
It's cute the way it's written, but a child's ABC book with no illustrations??? I know it was a free Kindle download, but that seems lacking. Still, it could be enough to spark some conversation between parent and child.
I will gladly and with a full heart be sharing this poetry with my children! glad to see something for those of us who are not specifically Wiccan and define ourselves as Pagan!
This book is not an "activity book" like the description stated originally. It's simply a book of ABCs alongside a list of other "books" the author has written. Nothing really note worthy- and only vaguely useful for children.
