I'm the first to rate and review this book from 2012!? What is going on here...
Anyway, this was a super short story about a girl with a neglectful mother and her struggle to break the toxic attachment to her mother.
I liked this a lot for a short story. I think, considering the length, it captures the sentiment of a child's seemingly unconditional love for her mother very well.
Also, is that Buffalo Central Terminal on the cover? 🤔
