The lexicon for Hunted Mate was very intriguing. Logan was sexy and stubborn, but didn't hold a candle to strong-willed, Tara.
Logan, the Cat Shifter Prince, is sent to "fetch" Tara for the Wolf Shifter Prince. Tara is his (Damian) mate, and as unwilling as she is to accept the idea, Logan is hellbent to get her there--without giving into his (Logan) desire to claim her as his own.
And it wasn't until nearly the last page (I think it was the second to the last) that we find out what will happen to our couple.

This story definitely grabbed and held my interest. I really liked it a lot. I had some problems with it though. For example, near the end, the wolf shifters were looking for their missing leaders but they were searching in the wrong place. The evidently couldn't pick up a scent trail that a Beagle puppy could have followed. There were other errors of that nature in the book. In addition, I don't believe "slinked" is a word. But it was used twice in the book. Overall I did enjoy the story and will be reading more of the author's books.
