Improving Exercise Adherence

Rate this book
This was a randomized controlled trial examining two different resistance training modalities, hypertrophy and power training. Learn about the differences that result from weeks of training following specific protocols for each type of weight training. In addition, this study also examined psychological constructs that have been evidenced to impact motivation to exercise. A psychological technique called evaluative conditioning was also implemented, controlled for, and assessed for its effectiveness in improving adherence to exercise. Findings span from physical measures such as muscular strength, power, and endurance, to anthropometric, neuromuscular, functional, and psychological domains.
