Liala, pen-name of Amalia Liana Negretti Odescalchi (Carate Urio, March 31, 1897 – Varese, April, 15 1995) was an Italian novelist, one of the most popular feuilleton writers of XX century.
Her pseudonym was coined by Gabriele D'Annunzio, who want to give her a name who cointans an "ala" (which also means "wing" in Italian language).
