Frank has been many a father, a husband, a protector, a thief. Then a prison term took it all away.

Now his daughter only calls to say that she hates him. She has her reasons, and he doesn’t blame her. Besides, as long as she keeps calling, there’s hope that maybe some day he can make up for the time they lost.

But when a man shows up with a cheap Chinese pistol and the locket his daughter once wore, Frank has to decide how far he will go prove his love—and save her life.
