She is also the author of Contemporary Spirituality for an Evolving World: A Handbook for Conscious Evolution, and the first in a slimline series she launched in late 2020, Four Fundamentals: A Pocket Book for Self-Healing, Self-Awakening, and Self Liberation.

All the focus the past two years or so about the end of the Mayan Calendar, and the implications surrounding the entire subject of 2012, inspired me to buy this book. I wasn't sure what to expect, but being a metaphysical scamp I tend to be open-minded by nature and therefore looked forward to reading it.
I am pleased to report that I found this title to be both educational and inspirational. Thanks to Nicolya Christi, I learned a ton about the Mayan Calendar, and also about the nature of various predictions associated with 2012. Considering this is Ms. Christi's first book, it is indeed very well-written and neatly organized, and the subject matter is captivating and thought-provoking as well. As such, I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in coming to a deeper understanding of these subjects. Prospective readers should note, however, that this book probably shouldn't be read by folks with very fixed and rigid ideas about the nature of reality, unless they are willing to open their minds and hearts and be truly willing to move out of their comfort zones.
This is one of my favorite passages from the book:
"If you are unwell and praying for recovery, you may say, "Dear God, please help me to become well again." This communicates to your higher self (your God Self) to whom you are praying, for we are all God), your DNA, your luminous energy field, and the environment that you are unwell, which further compounds this statement as a belief system and an experience. You are telling yourself you would like to become well again but you are placing that possibility outside of yourself, by requesting "outside" assistance from a higher Source.
What needs to be understood is that this higher Source is not separate from you in any way; it is both within and without. The higher Source is you and you are it. By praying to be well and happy, for inner peace and abundance, you are acknowledging that this state does not yet exist and therefore the environment, which is simply a mirror, will reflect this back to you. As you continue to pray for what you need, you will reinforce your neediness."

Much has been read into the ending of the current Mayan cycle in 2012. Some see an impending apocalypse. Others see a chance to move towards a better way of living. Most see some sort of change.
For new agers such as the author of 2012: A Clarion Call there is both hope and trepidation. For them, the end of the Mayan Calendar is a signal that change is afoot. We as a human race are on the brink of evolving. December 21, 2012, then, is a deadline of sorts for our collective vibration to break through to a new phase of being.
With this hope of a new world comes fear. Mostly fear that we will be unable as a human race to make the most of this opportunity. That not enough people are resonating with their soul purposes. Deadline or no deadline, I think if we all look within and make the necessary adjustments that change on grander scale will eventually happen.

This book was phenomenal! It did a great job of not only explaining how humanity is on verge of a consciousness expansion, but it also incorporated it with Native American (aboriginal) prophecies, the ascension process, and the transition from homo sapiens to homo luminous (beings of light)! What an exciting time it is!
