I really enjoyed this little 80's book! It was very funny and the detailed explanation of that Time era was fantastic really enjoyed that mixed with humor. I think I will keep this one and read again in the future.

I love this so much. A bit dated but makes you wonder how dated we'll be in 27 years!

I love this play I could and would read it again and plan to actually. It’s like sex and the city essentially. Similar archetypes and I think the woman who wrote it either inspired or also wrote sex in the city which is one of my favourite shows. My only issue with it is that it’s of its time and there are certain things that that don’t age well. But for the most part it’s still very very relevant to the issues I hear women complaining about today. Definitely an enjoyable read and I read it in just a few hours maybe 2.

It seemed so much like an attempt at a Sex and the City feel, but an unsuccessful one. Additionally, the playwright changed the location to LA when it was performed in California, but it had such an NYC feel, and I did not truly believe the setting was Los Angeles.
That being said, I did enjoy the ending.

I'm sure that when this was first produced, it was hilarious and a little titillating and shocking--but reading now it seems a little dated. I definitely enjoyed reading it and did chuckle out loud at several points. My favorite line: "If she can't fry it or fuck it, she can't bothered."

This play was trying to hard to push the limits of what an audience wants to hear--reminded me of The Vagina Monologues but with a story line.

Not my style. Very unique and modern I suppose, but I could've lived without reading it. Well written in its own way, some people may enjoy it
