Loved this book. The classic clothing and down-to-earth advice makes this a great book on wardrobe building for women. I have enjoyed this book so much my name is marked most often on the library's copy! Kim Johnson Gross created a wonderful book with her writing style and the many fabulous photos. I should really just find a copy of my own.
This is another great book in the Chick Simple Guides. Yes, there's repetition, but in each book, there's always new information. I recommend this to any woman who's looking to learn about how to build a class, quality wardrobe of basics that withstand decades.
With the concept of the capsule wardrobe, I've embraced black because it's made my life so much easier. However, I do want to add an animal print item here or there. I'm a believer in natural fibers, but as we all know, Lycra has been a huge advancement when it comes to fit.
So I got this hoping it would have some good ideas about basic wardrobe piece basic construction...nope. Just lots of pictures and "ways to put things together". nice pics, though.
