C'mon, Lets Face It

Rate this book
In “C’mon, Lets Face It,” Sam Ward leads readers on a voyage of discovery through a strange world that not many have the male mind. “Not that men are especially deep,” Sam states, “Men often stumble across truths about women, family and Life’s bigger picture that should lead to greater enlightenment. It’s just that we don’t learn anything from it.” Sam has learned a thing or two, though. His laugh-out-loud short stories are filled with musings, which offer readers a rare glimpse of male progress being made. There is now hard evidence that men may yet evolve. And it is strangely endearing to find a middle age guy so compellingly honest about it all. “Yep, all of these stories are true,” Sam says, “sadly so. But it’s a crazy world out there. That’s why almost anyone will be able to relate to my observations.” And the artwork is the perfect addition to this book. In accordance with the title, Sam has turned his artistically altered face into images that cleverly illustrate each story. Sam Ward, writer, artist, and poet (and part-time admitted sexist) lives a relatively normal existence with his lovely wife Janine and three fairly cool children in Southwest Florida.
