Loved them when I was young and still enjoy rereading them. Love getting emails from the Rick Brant group. It pleases me that so many intelligent people still appreciate Hal Goodwin's work. It was pretty cool back in the day to have a once head of the Atomic Energy Commission write science related books for young people. No wonder they were ahead of their time. The first mention I ever heard of a convection oven was in an early RB.
