A good basic account of the development of military sniping and something of the sort of soldiers who are best suited to it - nothing new here for a reader already familiar with the subject, but as an intro, this is a down-to-earth book I'd hand to someone who was curious about it. More into the who-what-where-when-how than the "thrill and danger", but that's okay by me.
