In some ways, this book was helpful and inspiring, but in other ways it felt confusing and a bit over my head—I should note that I’m a fairly new potter.

There are a few techniques I may experiment with, but while many of the ideas were interesting, most weren’t quite my personal style or taste.

The photography of the tools throughout the book is absolutely gorgeous.
