Dans un coin perdu, de l’autre côté des Alpes, vivait une fille qui dévorait les livres comme des beignets au sucre. Elle passait ses journées à la bibliothèque du village. Ce lieu, son refuge, abritait des milliers d’ouvrages qu’elle engloutissait l’un après l’autre.
Dans ce même coin perdu, vivait un vieil homme solitaire. Il rêvait d’écrire un roman parfait, une histoire incroyable, capable de conquérir le cœur de jeunes lecteurs. Pour cela, il avait besoin de l’aide d’une lectrice très particulière. Et Antonino, le solitaire, rencontra Domitilla, la fille qui dévorait les livres…

P.D. BACCALARIO was born in Acqui Terme, a beautiful little town in the Piedmont region of Northern Italy. He grew up in the middle of the woods with his three dogs and his black bicycle. He loves seeing new places and discovering new lifestyles, although, in the end, he always returns to the comfort of familiar ones.

Intenso e incantato, il libro si muove su due livelli, tra il fantasy e la realtà, ed è riuscito a piacere persino a me che con il fantasy non ho mai avuto il feeling. Una scrittura adatta a ragazzi e "grandi", uno scrittore che è sempre una garanzia.

C'est ma deuxième lecture et ce livre est aussi parfait à mes yeux que la première fois où je l'ai lu il y a quatre ans.
