Her new friends take her on some unfortunate adventures as she assists them on their journey to reclaim the throne. With the help of the book, she finds herself able to escape the most dire of situations. Even when the ink disappears, the story continues.
It’s an exciting fantasy book about a young woman named Maylee who is transported into a magical world through a book. She quickly gets caught up in a plot involving a hidden prince and his chef as they try to take back their kingdom from an evil tyrant.
The story is filled with magic, adventure, and twists, including a magical book that can show the future and a tiny, feisty creature that adds humor. It's a fast-paced, engaging read that combines action, emotion, and a bit of romance.
I enjoyed this book. I like the idea of a magical book that shows your future. One of my only criticisms for this book is that I think the ending with a little bit abrupt. I liked the world, in the question about whether she got transported to another world or just for the future. I hope there are more books in the series if this one did end on a cliffhanger. The world building was all right, the romance was a little abrupt.
Vanishing Ink was a cute story and a fun read. It might appeal more to a younger audience. The descriptions of the different creatures were well-done and interesting. It strangely felt like I was reading an episode of a TV show.
The storytelling in this book was brilliant and intriguing! I loved the characters! However, the book formatting was messy. But overall, great book! I also really like the title and cover.
