It had a happy ending, of course, but I found it difficult to enjoy this story about war and destruction.

If only the elephants and rhinos would learn how to get along, we would all live in a much happier world.

A plot is afoot, due to a terrible villain, Rataxes. He's in cahoots with a rhino witch named Micidexia.

What happens next is sooooo funny.

AND THERE'S MORE

Afterward comes a serious battle -- followed by a superbly happy ending.

No spoiler from me, haha! But when you read the last pages, it might be fun to notice how it this happy ending is written from a children's point of view. Clever!!!

A typical Babar book. However, this edition can be a bit on the dark side. Parents should pre-read this to make sure it is suitable for their youngsters.
